It's one thing to criticize what people choose to say but someone who shits on you for your voice/accent in general probably has the mindset of a middle schooler and isn't worth your time anyway.

Call them out for having an even gayer voice OP. Most people get uncomfortable hearing their own voice in recordings to the point where they avoid listening to it or say "I d-don't sound like that heh".
