The problem being that when Nintendo makes a new game in their franchises, for some reason they think each one needs a new gimmick.
Cappy in Oddysey, Stickers in Paper Mario, Giant Luigi in Mario&Luigi, the motion controls in StarFox, Anti Gravity in Mario Kart (This one was acceptable in my opinion) half the shit in BOTW etc.

I can't speak for everyone, but when I see a new sequel on a console, I want more of the same gameplay from the last game, but with slightly improved graphics, another good story and the same solid core gameplay. We don't need shitty new mechanics tacked on that detract from what made the series up to that point really good.
I hope they don't fuckup Prime 4 with something retarded. I just want another prime game with HD textures and a interesting story.
