Degeneration is ok if you're a real RE2-fag, since they do shout-outs to it all through the movie, beyond merely having Claire and Leon there. Also, don't expect wise-cracking RE4 Leon, even though it takes place right after RE4. He's a humorless straight-man. Action is probably the worst of the three, but still good in places.

Degeneration is widely regarded as the best of the three. Action is top notch, the Tyrants are probably the most impressive incarnations of Tyrants anywhere, either movies or games.

Vendetta goes way over-the-top with the action, but if you turn your brain off, it's pretty awesome. The main story is pants-on-head retarded, but there is some decent character growth, particularly for Leon. Rebecca looks so good it spawned a genuine renaissance for her. People will say she does nothing but be a damsel-in-thisdress the whole movie, but she actually figures out the entire evil plot and leaves it in an email for Chris and Leon to find on her laptop.
