Experienced this for the first time recently.

I walked around in confusion not knowing where to go. The entire city was unpopulated except for a small space outside of a bank or something and there were only about 40 people there and I was playing on a popular server. There was no wonder, no awe, no real experience. I talked to an NPC and then left and a few hours later quit. I guess it's too late to get into WoW.

I first read all the plaques underneath the statues in the entrance then flew explored. Took the tram to Ironforge then flew back to Stormwind. Was blown away by the views so I went back and forth like 6 times.

I think its just the alliance having bad storylines for you.

Same, but I thought the tram cost gold or had a longer time schedule since it wasn't at the station when I zoned in, so I walked the span of it to see if I could. I remember losing my shit when I saw the Nessie reference in the ocean portion of the tram ride. I just kinda stood there and stared at it.
