Playing Morna Tales right now, user. Fuck paying $10

Usercount?

20-30 on average. The game is pretty much soloable though which makes it less fun.

The pic I posted was why I'm still there, anyway
I've never had any interest in inflating numbers, but the community interaction is something you STILL can't find anywhere else

I've tried every private server that's come along before, and the owners are usually assholes or incompetant. The only one I liked was Han, but that didn't last long.

played it a shit ton back in 2012 on the taiwan server
anyone else remember grinding for dragonballs in order to unlock super
saiyan/your racial transformation, but the enemies only dropped them on certain days for like 3 hours and then you had to wait days for the opportunity to farm for them?

Attached: dragon_ball_online_3.jpg (1366x768, 337K)

That was one of my favorite games. Thanks for the nostalgia reminder.

You want old I'll give you old

Attached: Bandit.png (301x659, 138K)

that sounds terrible. i wonder if dragon ball online global changed that.

When GhostX was closing I was desperately hoping someone would set a up a private server but it never happened.

>ywn fight the Demi-Fiend
youtube.com/watch?v=kkv-i-1vGc4

The community seems to be pretty decent in this one along with the GMs. I'd give it a shot if you want. My only problem with these private servers is that they aren't Nexus.

I remember it.

Old or dead? Mabi's still kicking, it honestly makes me happy that it's still alive and there's really no sign of it being shut down in the near future.

Attached: snapshot.jpg (128x256, 27K)

this one fucks with me because i'll never get to play it properly now. i thought tortanic would die first so i went and played that, then when i came back around to try imagine out it'd died just a few months before.

what's this MMO like?.

I spent too much money on that game and had to quit.

where are my lads at?

Attached: vmk.png (800x580, 818K)

Holy shit, that's a season 2 screenshot. that from 2007~8?
Too bad game started to go to shit and KoG clearly doesn't care, EA tier. why? well...
Let me tell you a story(wich if you cared about the game might make you rage); i don't remember who published the game in NA, and they probably didn't tell you shit, but all publishers knew for many months ahead of time when it was gonna shut down. Thing is Grand Chase used to make A LOT of money for KoG, specially in Brazil, in fact one could argue Brazil alone was paying the bills for both the KR server and the BR server because of how little the KR population was getting and how everything was pretty much free there. So much that (and this is a real story, if you search around you might find it, they explicitly said that's what happened) Level up! Games(the publisher for the BR server) wanted to literally pay to keep the game running, and when denied that, wanted to Buy the GC IP, to wich KoG denied and to this day sits on the ip, releasing every now and then KR-only mobile games with the brand on it.

I used to be around top 40~50 in the BR ranking at all times for most of the last few years in pvp, wich was quite something considering every year world finals were mostly BR vs KR.
10 years thrown down the drain, i guess.

It's been running since 1998
Combat is simple, but satisfying. Bread and butter 4 classes. There's still some real roleplay going. About 300 players most nights. Everyone knows everyone so it's a really friendly place. It's free to get into, and I'm the head of one of the clans so I'm always happy to see newcomers.

Drop a letter to Astrael if you feel like taking a look around

Attached: unknown[1].png (754x532, 890K)

I wonder if he's in the private server that's probably still running

My black character was name MyNameIsTyrone and was incredibly popular in the dance/dj area

>dragon ball online global
??
there's a server up for it?

I'm going to say one word, you tell me what it brings up for you.
Fusionfall.

GOAT game coming thru

Attached: 1623.jpg (1280x1024, 694K)

fun fact, the private server for imagine is based on the jap final version, with all the content, and they've released all the files necessary to set up local servers or host your own pservers.
They just finished updating all of the story content up through act 7, a few of the dungeons, all basic features are 100% complete, it's mostly just extra stuff like mail and player shops that need work. Even fusions/trifusions work.

Nothing but moon rooms and NHAA now. It's painful to look at now considering how much fun I had when I played regularly, but you could tell it was going to shit when it was becoming nothing but fucking moon rooms. I love moon, some of the best experiences with this game I've had in a moon room, but it was getting ridiculous.

Attached: Rumble_Fighter_Logo-1-.gif (700x250, 23K)

what are some current played mmos right now?

Dungeon and fighter, lineage 2, WoW, Maplestory, then I think ffxiv, lineage 1, and a huge drop after that, with like 90% of nexon's library filling up the next 100 slots.

>paying for extra food

Attached: fuck off.jpg (970x446, 138K)

I played this game within a week of its release. It was very fun, for a short while.

got any links for that friendo? the only private server i know of is the shit chink one.

Any links to this?

RIP in peace Shadowbane

>No MMO every ripped off CoH's amazing looking for group system
why

is there a good private server? always wanted to try this one

>trying to cast a spell with a matter cabalist around

get rekt kiddo

What are these "moon rooms" that you're talking about because I only remember griefing in NHAA lobbies when I was playing.

the chinese server isn't fake, it's the officially licensed one. It's also fully playable in english but yeah lag and p2w.

reimagine.online/ the only relevant hosted server
pastebin.com/uhVeJsm3 the files for local hosting
Been going since october or so. If you go on the discord for re:imagine you'll be able to find the link to the lead dev's discord where he drops the nightlies for testing and stuff. But he's asked people not to link it publicly so just do a little work if you care.

I probably played on the same server you did. I managed to collect all the tier 2 dragon balls and unlocked super saiyan. It was sweet.
One thing I liked about that game is that Kaioken was sometimes better than SSJ depending on your class. I think if you were a Turtle School or Swordsman human Kaioken was better, and if you were a Crane School human than SSJ was better. Not sure about the other races though.

I'm playing some Pso2 again. Having some fun playing with a group, but I got my ass kicked very thoroughly by the EQ Red dragon with the castle. I'm so rusty. I've been thinking of going back into Mabinogi because I haven't played since uhhh... after beating the G20 mainstream quests. I tried getting back into blade and soul but man I'll never not kick myself for deleting my old KFM. Going through the levels is such a god damn drag.

Moon rooms are just rooms of people fighting more to ring out their opponents rather than trying to HP KO them. I had a lot of fun with it, don't get me wrong. Angled counters, reading panics and punishing blocks with angled grabs made the mode way more intense than annoying, and the general community was funny and competitive. I met the best guild I've ever been in in this game the community was so good.

2007 so not the kind of old you are looking for since it's essentially a mediocre wow clone but i still loved it for nothing more than exploring a massive scale interpretation of middle earth

Attached: lotro.jpg (1920x1080, 290K)

this is the worst possible feeling

This game was pretty shit later on. The newer scrolls stomped all over starters, and old alike (exos had the same problems). Some scrolls were pricey and still bad. It would've also helped to turn the jewery a bit.
t. OGP

It was advertised on here for a short while and I ended up playing it for a couple weeks.

Except if you did what I said and bothered to look for 5 minutes you'd find the english patch, and the team working on said english patch. It's not all going to be available day 1 because the existing english client was piggybacked off of the sea version which was based on the chinese version which was based on the jap version, jap version has such a different ui the translation had to be entirely reworked and the patch that exists for the chinese version was nonfunctional.

the existing english translation extends throughout the whole UI and up through act 2 of the story.

We've just waiting here patiently for you to post them this whole time.

Where? I'm in the discord and i can only find the translation for partial demon names and items

Play on uthgard you shitlord

>this being a problem

that game was rad as fuck

I played Silkroad almost as much as I played Kal Online

when this was good and the characters weren't nerfed with every update because of some fags were complaying about a unique build of a character

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1920x1080, 145K)

i imagine it's solely because of the people who keep 5+ accounts running so they can have every the buffs necessary for implants and easy levelling.

Played for close 5 or 6yrs. Recently played it again for the feels.

Wasn't there a pokemon game online that used Gen IV's engine?

vanirra wow

Attached: wow raid.jpg (800x600, 91K)

Crater yes, I moved on to byond games shortly after, and after that, I moved to pokemmo, now PRO and soon pokemon one (which is just PRO with the gen6/7 battle system incl 3d graffix, but membership is separate, hope you didn't buy for a lifetime :^)

They're still fun. I enjoy them a lot more than just playing showdown because it feels like there's some sense of progression, and it's enjoyable as all fuck to shit on some scrub with a meta team but no ev training/garbage ivs/ bad nature.

My dude.
I miss when multiboxing wasn't common and it was actually fun playing with others.

You're probably thinking of pokemmo, they added gen5 areas recently, PRO it's competitor has gen 1, 3, and sinnoh.

>Sup Forums plays this game
You guys are alright. I spent a LOT of money on this game.
Made a 91 Rush Melee. After the Diamond nerf in Ichigaya, gave up playing it

Attached: 1509119483943.jpg (1024x768, 486K)

Unfortunately bots ruined sro. I was guilty of botting myself the last year or so I played because it was the only way to keep up. At one point I was spending 50$ every month on it.

>played the JP open beta with Sup Forums 11 years ago
>now it's gone

uthgard has issues that pretty much block you out from playing certain classes to their full extent.

Do bolts now work properly? Are resists on orange and higher mobs still higher than they should be? I'm sure there were more issues, but for the short time I played I was being told of some glaring issues the server had and decided it would be best to drop it.

>all these MMOs

:(

oh my fucking god.
>didn't have pc and internet until i was in mid to late teens
