hmmmmm

Because no one's playing it anymore.
He does about the same as other tempered monsters
They still nerfed his moveset. He doesn't even do def. down anymore for fucks sake.
>He doesn't even do def. down anymore for fucks sake.
You might just me retarded. Or good to not get hit by it.
He does, though. Dragonblight as well.
This is a straight up lie. Any pinning move and bite gives Def Down still.
>Wow, he does MORE DAMAGE, looks at that
>such a great way to balance a monster that got nerfed for no good reason coming from previous games
Please. Tempered is nothing but artificial difficulty. I'd rather have Apex back than this lazy shit.
>no def down
you don't have to make things up to make your point
HE'S FUCKING INSANE
He does. I somehow have terrible luck and get gobbled up every game.
I walked under that fuckers head and he drooled in me, gave me a nice case of the def down
It's not on the switch so I don't care
>Best sold game by Capcom within the first 2 months of release
>It hasn't even accounted for PC sales yet
yeah, sure. It is a dead game. Just tell yourself that.
Really? That's fucking weird then, because I've gotten inflicted with Dragonblight multiple times without any def. down. Only fought him a few times though, so not like I have much to go off of.
More like terrible skill.
post population statistics
>Tempered
How do you even get statistics from Xbox and PS4 jackass?
>works on my machine :^)

He only inflict def down with maw attacks either when tired or when he grapples you. It was already the same in previous titles for normal jho.
>artificial difficulty
It honestly feels like the whole game is on half damage until you get to tempered. Absolutely nothing is threatening. It's more like an artificial lack of difficulty.
Yup, not very good, I still play every game because I like them.
false flagging this hard.
Nintendofags are so butt blasted it's not on their system they have to shitpost all the time.
You get statistics since you claim its so dead
>mommy, I learned this new word on the internet, it is "artificial"
That's exactly what I though while fighting tempered Elders. Literally all it does it bring them back to to par with how they usually are.
GreatSword user
How the fuck can I kill this nigga before he digs himself off the map
>People complain about something
>Something is released that seems to address most of the compliants
>Hurr, why aren't people talking anymore
What the fuck is that move where the slams his foot onto the ground and causes you to be on the ground but you can't move and then he just rears up and slams down.
It's called The Worm.
Make him stumble in rage mode by smacking his face until he rears back to slam into the ground, and then hit him so that he tumbles over and has to get back up. It's pretty easy with the GS but you can do it with a tackle, so just charge while he's getting ready and them time the tackle.
Then just cut the tail/break the face.
Rinse, repeat.
>inflated jho addresses most of the complaints
>inflated
inb4 Dobson
Yeah, I know it's not the same as when you needed to carry blue meat on every quest, but at least there's a version that's not a weak bitch now.
>tempered jho comes out
>suddenly everyone goes back to regular jho for farming
You so called "I've been playing since 4U veterans" are a joke
no point if you get no Worn / Warped
Is tempered Jho treated as a tier 3 tempered or is there literally no reason to ever fight him tempered?
Threat level 3, he's harder than a tempered Elder for damn sure.
>can team up with 3 other shitters to overpower it
monster hunter is a game for casuals
Flash bomb
Four shitters would increase failure rates.
>can team up with 3 hunters and overpower him
so like any monster from any MH game
Wrong. In older MH, shitters wouldn't fail your quest.
Getting hit doesn't matter anymore since you can instantly heal with no risk. Getting hit by deviljho in the other games led to multiple issues:
1. You took enough damage that you'd need to drink two mega pots, which required extremely good positioning and timing so he doesn't jump you
2. Def. down from the hungry bites, requiring YET ANOTHER heal while you risk being oneshot
3. Dragonblight from the breath which you should never be getting hit by so whatever
4. Here's the important one - Apex Deviljho pins you with almost every attack. In short, they took the one monster whose gimmick was than you must never let it hit you ever or face certain death and made it so that you can get hit all day with no issues. Bravo, casuals.
If the game is so hard for you maybe you just well umm.. I don't know..... Not where any armor?
You'd have a point if this was Apex Deviljho
This is just pathetic.
Hahahahaha! There was a recurring quest in the real MH games where you hunted 2 Deviljho in the arena naked. Even P3rd, the second easiest MH game ever had that one.
But tier 2 tempered are the better investigations to farm because they have a higher chance for Warped feystones. Tier 3 is only for hero's streamstones, and there are barely any orange rarity weapons worth augmenting anyway.
Savage jho was the pin master, not Apex
You're right. Stupid me for thinking there was even one Apex that didn't suck ass.
Holy fucking shit, thanks for the tip user. I forgot you can use the slinger when you’re in that state. Now I feel stupid for carting to his wombo combos
I don't know why you think sales two months ago mean population now. A game being relatively dead 2 months after release isn't exactly uncommon, even for Monster Hunter.
Wait, you CAN!?
this was mentioned in the casualization threads
you can get out of all pins that way
Nonsense, Tri was still the most played online game on the Wii when it shut down several years later.
R.I.P. Loc Lac.
He seems to drop tier 3 rewards but his tracks yield tier 2 quests.
The other tempered monsters don't one shot you with just about every attack they have despite you have 400+ defense
>you can instantly heal with no risk
Glad you don't play actually play world
Fucking hell, don't you children ever get tired of having your heads up your own asses and fighting this playground-schoolyard trivial bullshit? Either talk about Monster Hunter or go die in a fire. God-fucking-damn, man.
RIP
It's 'cool' to hate things, be they video games, or other people who hate video games.
This guy is legit hard. His knockback into eating your face while on the ground is hard to dodge and is an instacart if you are even within like 3 feet of it. It's seriously making me reconsider my build to use shit like divine protection 3 just to prevent the random one shots.
I'm glad he's this hard though. The tempered elder dragons were really boring.
Not sure what kind of response this is meant to be but potion use is world is actually riskier than other MH games because it heals over time rather than instantly and carelessly using potions and then dodge-cancelling out means you lose the whole thing
>cancelling out means you lose the whole thing
Yeah it's not like there's any way to instantly restore all your items in the middle of a mission that adds a whole minute to the fight.
I finally decided to scrap all my garbage decorations for three worn feystones and got poisoncoat3, slider2, and elementless2. Are those any good?
When that happens and you get thrown onto the ground, fire a flash bomb at the ground in front of you and he'll reel back and your character will get up right after.
Also, if you know you're going to die, Fortify is your friend.
Depends, what's your weapon? The best one of those decos is elementless 3. There are people who have been farming for weeks to get one, lucky you. The other two are fairly common.
I'll try that, thanks. That is like the one move of his that always carts me. The other is the knockdown into double breath.
Not him but lying on Sup Forums is a bad habit. Healing went from being THE most dangerous action in the game to letting you run laps around the arena.
I had a diablos shatterer made because I wanted to pick up the hammer. Apparently raw is law right now.
I was using my Master Bang SnS and managed to get him after 30 minutes and 2 carts. He's a legitimately threatening challenge. I'd honestly recommend capturing him, considering how tough he is.
notto disu shitto again
it doesn't matter how "long" it takes to drink because you can jog around attacks
>start replaying 4U
>3 cart to pink Rathian at least 4 times now
How do I deal with being this bad at a casual game?
I can only imagine it's contrarians that never actually played the older games
You would have to be fucking braindead to get hit trying to heal in the old games
You're still not gonna get hit in World, but at least I've had times where I've lost my heal before getting the full thing, which is more punishing than the old system (though literally anything would be)
Consider suicide.
Hopefully Grank fixes this, can't use camps because Handler off to find mushrooms to stick up her vagene.
Despite the drinking animations being overall faster in the old games, you still had to stand still which allows monster to at least land a blow on you if you badly time it. The new system makes it much more forgiving since the overall slower monsters would almost never hit you as long you were moving.
>getting hit in World when you can run around
>losing your potion is punishing when restocks and several other sources of HP exist
>Village multiplier monster damage being significant
>wait for monster to attack
>walk to the side of it
>heal
It was easy as hell and not risky.
I like MH worlds. I welcome the new QoL adjustments. It also fits lorewise too.
Remake of pokke village when
>don't even wait for monster attack
>heal while jogging to the side
wow
Try doing that against Garuga, Rajang, or Brachy and see how well that works out for you.
So, does MH WORLD play like the previous games or more like an open world RPG?
That's the thing though, you would have to fuck up so badly or just purposefully not give a fuck and mash the potion out to ever get hit
A better example of something actually made much easier is sharpening, because it's quicker AND you can evade out of it
>restocking mid fight
Just how casual are you?
It's like the old games with clear-cut mission selection in contained areas. The only open part is that there are no loading screens between area zones.
That sucks
I was hoping for some more free form gameplay
SSJ Rajang is the one thing that I could think of that I'd probably want to zone out to try and heal
>Garuga
are you just mashing potions at its feet?
>Brachy
Green Brachy on an off day could punish you, maybe
I agree with you, but guess how many shitters in the older games that couldn't grasp the concept. it lead to the devs using a more forgiving if/not as braindead system.
Cantaperme already solo'd it in under 5 minutes.
MaiLBG is also about to sub5 it.
The new system also allows you to simply waste a heal if you do happen to get hit or have to roll in the middle of it, instead of previously where the potion doesn't get expended until you actually get the heal.
It was nigh impossible to complete a tempered kirin sos with 3 randoms back then.
How bad is it going to be to try to beat tempered jho with 3 randos?
Can’t wait for Tempered G-Rank Oroshi Kirin and Tempered G-Rank Savage Deviljho.
I've seen plenty of faints in my runs in my run but we always win. People play very defensively against him, nobody serious enough about MH to fight him wants to be the guy who ruins the quest.
