How does it feel to know that Konami's only purpose at this point is to sabotage its flagship titles?

Konami has been making slot machines for their flag ship franchises since the 80s and continue to do it currently. This is not news.

When is humanity going out outlaw and ostracize institutional gambling as a whole? It serves literally no point t o society.

And don't fucking say it's good entertainment. No one goes to a casino or pachinko parlor to relax.

Makes me glad I saved a bunch of money on car insurance by switching to Geico

Does Konami even matter anymore?

Gambling is fun

I would be ok with it if the machines came to casinos outside of japan, would love to get drunk and play castlevania slots.

Is at my local casino.

are you sure this is konami
cause this looks more like some square chibi FF shit

Was at a casino in New Mexico that had quite a few Konami machines.

>hating Based Konami
Fuck off Reddit, this looks hype as fuck.

It flashes a konami logo when nobody plays it. There are a shit load of konami slot machines. Its one of their top ventures.

Bottom right corner

I work in a casino. We use Konami programs to manage a whole lot of things. They're actually better than Bally or IGT's similar programs. I'm torn between "Fuck Konami for all they've done" and "Hey they make good shit".

There isn't much to say about Konami at this point. At least, when it comes to video games. They haven't produced much since starting the 8th gen. They released MGS: Survive, Bomberman, PES, and some Pawapuro for the Japanese market. There's also some mobile shit like: Duel Links. But when it comes to new entries of their flagship series (Castlevania, Contra, Silent Hill) there isn't anything around the horizon.

There's a decent looking Zone of Enders remaster coming out, which looks decent.

Didn't they open a HQ in Las Vegas last year? They seem to be focusing heavily in the casino market...

Silent Hill has been dead since 4, so who cares? Konami's other franchises they don't give a shit about outside of Metal Gear. So they're not sabotaged, just forgotten forever.

Bombergirl the arcade game is pretty fun though

They did. And I can see why they'd focus on casinos. Why blow millions of dollars on risky game development when you can spend a few thousand on developing a slot machine and let people literally give you money for nothing? And slots are so heavily regulated that most machines from one company (Konami included) are just the same game with different symbols/graphics. Hell even Sega does it. We've got House of the Dead and Crazy Taxi machines right next to each other. Same game, different icons, probably made more money than both their franchises.

Konami has had a building in vegas for a while, i remember it as a kid.

They already have a Lords of Shadow pachislot machine too. Seems like Konami is just currently destroying everything Kojima touched.

>castlevania
>square

If they hadn't cancelled Silent Hills and the HD collection wasn't such a blunder I wouldn't hate them as much.
