I think the sexism made sense in the context of the time period and how the Prince is royalty that expects a certain type of woman. It's very mild anyway and the Prince does regard Farah as a person that he genuinely falls in love with, not an object to be obtained.
I'm sure a bad feminist blogger could take all that context out and make it seem much worse than it is though.
