I've stopped updating firefox. There's no point.
Every update is just more work.

we both got firecucked

Write your own CSS and stop whining, you little shit.

That's why you wait a day or two before updating silly, don't auto update, just let it show a notification when you can update.

As an addon developer, I fucking hate Firefox' release cycle.

>hurr durr let's only do major release so we can break stuff on every release
>let's deprecate things before API replacement is complete
>oh, you've had your browser installed for more than a couple of months? deprecated

Suck my dick.

I didn't update the last 2 updates they released. Figured I should finally update this time.

Firefox updates never used to break every fucking thing back in the day like it does now. Might as well be using fucking IE as bad as it's become now. Every time they update it they destroy like 5 key things in the process.

Exactly. FF 38 and up has been especially bad.

I just don't get why they don't even try to bunch it up into -actual- major releases. Users don't care if some internal API call is made more elegantly, they care if their addons break or if they get new functionality.

Maintaining old and complex addons is hell now, and doing a proper update or rewrite also sucks because we're still waiting for the new webextensions API to actually support shit.

Point is waiting with the update a few days not skipping them.

Cant you just roll back to the latest working version?
