This is for the discussion of vaporizers, the technology used to produce vapor to be inhaled by a subject in the act of "vaping." This is not solely for the discussion of the act of vaping, but rather the technology required to engage in it.
Rules included for those unfamiliar or unsure of what this board is dedicated to.
Technology (tekˈnäləjē) - the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry. This is a very broad term that may apply to certain objects that you do not personally see the value in. If that's the case, that's ok! You're not the only person on Sup Forums and it's possible to have multiple threads up about a variety of different technologies for this very reason! If this thread isn't relevant to your interests, scroll past it and find one that is, but don't shit it up with your own misconceptions.
Vaporizer (vāpəˌrīzər) -a device that generates a particular substance in the form of vapor, especially for medicinal inhalation.
A vaporizer is the tangible result of applied scientific knowledge for practical purposes. Other notable examples of technology include: chairs, watches, headphones, wheels, flashlights, guillotines, cameras, speakers, even plastic water bottles are technology!
This general is NOT for the discussion of whether or not vaporizers are technology. If you need clarification on this matter, please take a remedial English course.

>another general Fuck off, we don't need more generals.

>Technology (tekˈnäləjē) - the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry. Using this broad of a definition means literally everything should be on Sup Forums, fuck off. Mods delete your mouth fedora threads, they don't belong here, take it to Sup Forums.
Jack Allen

Dude, you can't kick us out of Sup Forums. This is the home of the vape nation.

nice contribution
a popcorn lung is a known disease mainly from people working at a popcorn factory with insufficient work security. the high amount of dyacetyl, a butter like flavour ingredient, is being transmitted into the air and for the workers to inhale, which is the cause of it.
it is known that there are dyacetyl flavoured aromas available. but more and more vape companies have jumped ship from that ingredient to provide more safety to their customerbase.

>Using this broad of a definition means literally everything should be on Sup Forums, fuck off Technology is a broad term, but does not apply to "literally everything." Please brush up on your English before continuing to post.
Care to explain why watches would be acceptable but vapes not?
Ethan Barnes
>Care to explain why watches would be acceptable but vapes not? They're not, there's already a watch general on /fa/, no reason for them to be here either.
Jayden Powell
>Technology is a broad term, but does not apply to "literally everything." Name something it doesn't apply to.
Adam Cruz
So, any technology that doesn't have a dedicated board belongs on Sup Forums instead of Sup Forums? Are you really that retarded?

This list could go on for a very long time; I hope your smart enough to admit when you're wrong.

Currently using a Reuleaux RX200 with a TFV4 and nickel coils, but I'm considering going back to unregulated with a RBA. What do you guys think?

Please stop shitting up this thread.

Not really big on RBAs, but TC/wattage are different experiences, with wattage being a slight preference for me. It's not like you're going to be tied down to whichever you choose, do what feels right.
Kevin Perry
TFV4 would be a legendary tank if they got rid of that swivel bullshit and used organic japanese cotton or gave a ceramic option.
Josiah Anderson
True. I used to run pure wattage and liked it. But I switched over just for ease of use and not having to worry about the one time a month or so where you hit it dry haha. I think I'll carry both of my mods for a week and see what I like most. Thanks BTW. Too bad we have tards in here that don't understand what technology is.
Mason Young
True. I don't like how it will get juice leak on the top after a tank of usage. I've never heard about ceramic, is that a type of coil you can buy for other mods?
Oliver Jenkins
Ceramic coils use ceramic to absorb juice instead of cotton, yielding better flavor and no dry hits. Not every tank has the option to use them, but I've heard nothing but glowing reviews from the ones that do. It should work in just about any mod, though.
Jeremiah Lee
Hmmm. Interesting. I'll have to do some research tomorrow when I'm not busy at work. Thanks for the info instead of sending me a lmgtfy link.
