Anyone have experience making Android games?

Anyone have experience making Android games?

I want to make a clone of Megaman or some other simple 2D retro game, but with my own assets.

Recommended engines, etc.?

gross

I like Unity as a game engine, it's nice for 2D games too. It can publish to Android/iOS amongst others.

If you were wanting to make a HTML 5 game (which also works on mobile), you might try Phaser, another good engine

this desu senpai

>unity

You deserve to be gassed.

Sweet. I have Unity downloaded but haven't devoted much time to it yet. I'm new to game development. Honestly, for this project I was thinking of just copying a ready-made clone of the code from github and swapping out the assets. Is Unity necessary for this?

>Unity
Nice Amazon Botnet,faggot!

Big American titties

Gamemaker studio

Pretty much this.

you could try Monkey X. i used to program in the language it was birthed from when i was a teenager. it was easy to make simple 2d game engines with but i lost them all a long time ago. there's exporting to ios, android, and a bunch of other shit

is there anything in the world better than America tits?

I think I'm gonna go with Unity. Anyone else have any recommendations?

learn java and use androids studios built in canvas and paint librarys

3DPD deported

...

Who is this semen demon

>I think I'm gonna go with Unity.
for a 2D game? (megaman-like)

overkill and bloat, not to mention costly.

use a 2D engine for a 2D game - game maker, Godot, etc

>degenerate

>no cock

I am disappointed.

LibGDX. Nice, fast, and you'll actually learn how games work

Libgdx. I've made few simple 2D games with it. If you know Java you should have no problems with it. There are some good tutorials too.

Unity would be my other choice but it's a bit overkill for your kind of game I think but you'll probably get it done a lot quicker with Unity.

>not hating fake tits more than hating fake all

I think both of them are degenerate, but I always masterbait when I have no other options
