It's OK

Had it, sold it. Full of bugs, laggy at many operations and just not optimized. They promised Marshmallow to be available for it whenever it would get released. Guess what? Still no Marshmallow. The customer support is also utter shit, and doesn't help at all. Just check the reviews or user ratings on /r/oneplus.

Don't buy anything made in 2015.

Shit customer support but I have a OPT on marshmallow beta

The only problem is the battery drain bug on the marshmallow beta, but you can avoid that if you do a fresh install

Get the phone if you're happy installing the marshmallow beta, if not, don't bother, as the official firmware updates are slow as fuck, and the phone on android 5.1.1 is buggy and borderline unusable. The beta removes all the performance problems

Have it, not a really good phone. Plagued by the FP scanner and the Lazer auto focus. Oneplus made proprietary drivers for them, so no one made roms with them working until recently when they got Android 6.0. Also Oxygen OS is a mess with bugs. The OnePlus One was a much better phone and you probably should wait for the 3 or get the X if you want a OnePlus phone

Absolute shit. Went back to my old One because of it. If you want OnePlus, either wait for the Three (it looks somewhat promising) or get a One.

>Guess what? Still no Marshmallow
Even my OnePlus One has Marshmallow now, this cant be true

You can get the beta which one plus considers as having met their Q1 target for marshmallow

But still no full release, it's absurd

Same for me. I never bought a opeplus two because of its numerous issues. Still using a oneplus one and going strong. The three does look promising, albeit turned off by iets NSA fingerprint scanner. The camera + ram + full metal looks promising though. Also the snapdragon 820 has no overheating issue. Looks like a decent phone except for the fingerprint scanner.

Geez, good thing I got their first phone. I was also thinking about buying the OnePlus Three, but I might overthink this.

The OnePlus 3 has been leaked already, I hope this isn't real..

The one plus 3 will probably be as awful as the oneplus two was on release, coupled with the slow as hell updates, it won't be a good experience

Mind you, once marshmallow gets released for the oneplus two, it'll probably be a solid phone. God knows if oneplus will bother supporting it after the oneplus three gets released though

If i were to buy the phone now. How many years would you think it would hold up?

I got it. I immediately flashed an unofficial cm build when I received it. No issues at all yet. Works as you would expect

This.

Oneplus has never been particularly good but their first phone was fucking great when they weren't shitting out bad batches.

currently using a oneplus one, and when you look at the specs of the two, it's not worth the upgrade. the one has been a developer haven phone for so long everyone who owns it is on some custom rom with better stability than what oneplus is even shitting out. currently on the 5.1 sultan rom, which blows the fuck out of stock.

unless they have something that is incredibly affordable with fantastic specs like their first phone, they're gonna go bankrupt in no time.

the hot new meme phone is the htc 10 from what i'm seeing, but not at that 700 dollar price point.

THIS. Don't do it OP, you'll regret it for the rest of your life.

The HTC 10 is way thicker and has rounded edges, it looks different.
I don't think OnePlus is going to go bankrupt soon (sadly), they're still on Oppo's back and will find some way to rescue themselves, I think.

When you have an obvious hardware error, the support center tells you to install an application that lets a OnePlus "supporter" control your PC and flash your phone via your PC. Flashing your phone even though it's clear that the phone is having a hardware issue. It's just obnoxious.

On the Oneplus subreddit it has even outgrown to a meme, people asking for help are responded with "have you tried flashing your phone?" because it's OnePlus's standard answer after you state your problems. Oh and did I mention that every response from them takes up to a week? Every. Single. One. For example, it takes a week for them to register your ticket, in that reply they tell you to be more specific with the problem. You send that reply, and it takes them a week again. And it just continues like that.

OH SHIT DONT NIGGER WAIT FOR THE OP3

Look:

Kek im writing this in my onePlus 2 right now

probably not, look at the design of the opx and op2 they are not what I would call great but they aren't that ugly.

...

Hey OP, I got the oneplus 2 and I think it's great. Just don't install oxygen 3 (marshmallow based) on it yet, as it's so fucking buggy you wouldn't believe it,just go with either oxygen 2 or cyanogen mod. Although, the cyanogen Roms does not support fingerprint scanner or or laser focus, so you'll have to live without that if you use cm.

Overall great phone, had it for a year and it still goes like new. Put some panzer glass on it and get a flip cover, then it'll last you a lifetime.

I don't get it. What's the funny part?

>i can connect my 3TB external drive to my phone
>ur meme card only have 128 Gb

In 3tb i can have a lot of porn

Do you also carry a mechanical keyboard with you at all times? Also 256GB micro sd cards exist now fyi.

Having a microsd slot is crucially important in a phone as microsd adapters can destroy your phone in an accident.

> (You)
>Do you also carry a mechanical keyboard with you at all times? Also 256GB micro sd cards exist now fyi.
No i don't. I carry all my data with me, not a fucking keyboard. Also, don t compare ur 256gb shitty sd with a 3tb external device

>microsd adapters can destroy your phone in an accident.
>can destroy your phone in an accident
>can destroy your phone
>can destroy
Wait what the fuck i just read

It's a really good phone... just don't use stock firmware. Shits around a 60k antutu benchmark on stock rom. Lots of bloatware and chink spyware taking up resources. Flash that shit with a CyanogenMod 13 and the antutu benchmark score will jump to around 100k.

For the 350 price tag, it's fairly good.

Wow what a bunch of bullshit in this thread. I have a Oneplus 2 and dont recognize any of the problems.

Customer support may be shit but what do you expect from a 350 euro chinkphone. I had a 650 euro Samshit before that was worse in every single way and that had terrible support too (shitty dynafix).
