Anyone here with a 900 series card upgrading to the 1000's?

Anyone here with a 900 series card upgrading to the 1000's?

There is no reason to own either of those so no.

I have a 400 series upgrading to 1080. Does that count?

what is she doing here?

I will upgrade my 960 to a 980 if I can find one for $200.

Being a retarded cunt.

7870 Tahiti LE going to GTX 1070.

Rolling a die.

you might be able to get a 980ti for around that much when the 1070 comes out.

who is this woman who should receive equal treatment and not be discriminated against based on her gender?

Nah, the performance will be too close between the two.

Probably not, unless ole faithful 3.5gb starts choking up. I really want to go 1440p though.

970 here, not any time soon

sold 980 to get 1080 sli

>upgrading to a 1080 which has 300 less CUDA cores than my 980 ti

Nah man, nah!

>780
I'll probably wait for polaris/1080ti

Have a 960 at the moment, 1070/80 probably gonna be too expensive for me in europe (can afford, but not really want to spend that much cash on it), I think I'll look for a 970/80 second hand in a few weeks. If the prices are shit I might look for a 1070..

Yep. 970 to 1080, then depending how good it is I may go to the 1080ti

0/10

Specs are already leaked senpai, GDDR5X. It's shit.

I have a GTX 960 and I probably won't upgrade for a few years.

I only really play CS:GO and Path of Exile, and the 960 does a great job with both of those games.

The only reason I would buy a 1000 series card would be to max out GTA 5, but I only play it a couple hours a month. I can't justify $600 for that.

>mfw people will buy two of these cards just to play at a meme resolution

Reminder that she's still a virgin

Willing to trade GTX 1080 for her... or two 980's in SLI.

Thinking of buying a 970.
Will they drop in price when 1000 arrives?

Yeah. I normally upgrade every year or so (sometimes more than once every year) so I've had my current GPU for too long.

700 series upgraded from a 770 to a 390x

Feels good i dont have to put up with nvidia's bullshit

That said I'll have and wait see approach with the next-gen Radeons. They're pulling off some impressive "leaked" performance figures so far.

>Buying one of the WORST nvidia cards ever made.
WEW

>900 series card upgrading to the 1000's
I'll be upgrading from a 1900's series card.

Caring about what some random guy online thinks.

So you plan to waste your money on an overpriced founders edition then nvidicucks?

Where do you sell your GPU's?
or do you keep them?

I'm looking to sell my 290 to buy the 10 series.

>waiting on 1070/1080
>Implying NVIDIA won't pull a memecard 2.0

I'd wait and not buy one until a few months after release when I'm sure they're not fucking things up again.

hnnng sandwedge press

Is she retarded?

At a overclockers.com.au site has a fairly active trading forum and you can snag a few bargain here and there. Managed to get my hands on my Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 980 4GB for $250 USD early last year. I sold my Sapphire R9 290X Tri-X OC 8GB for $350 USD.

i usually hang onto them and let them go for around $200usd or more

loving the post-purchase rationalization

hah i see 290's go on there for under $200usd there all the time

This was over a year ago you see.

cheap.

yeah sometimes u can snag very cheap hardware but most of it is overpriced crap and the mods (mabaker) and such are absolutely abbhorrent assholes almost as bad as Whingepools

I only deal with reliable members and sellers/buyers. I got my GTX 980 from a hardware reviewer.

I havent been on their long enough over the years to find anyone 'reliable'

last guy i sold my 770 4gb oc for $180aud posted which was $550+ new btw told me i was 'ripping him off' for charging $30 postage when i live in the country.

Some real cockheads on there

Yeah you get some assholes sometimes. Been there for nearly a decade so I know most of the reliable ones.

Honestly, no. I have a 980ti, and when it gets out of warranty I'll OC it, and when even that doesn't help I'll upgrade.
My graphics cards tend to last me a good 4-5 years before I upgrade

No, I'm too poor for that

I'll wait for AMDs offering next gen or the 1180 to replace my shitty reference 980

Shut up. Nobody cares about your life history dating back to your grandpa.

760gtx with 2gb vram.
and i still dont have a reason to upgrade.
maybe if the inevitable 1060gtx is under 200€ then ill get one.
but as it stands now the my trusty card could run anything i threw at it 60fps on a 1900x1200 screen.

are the number of fans on gpus the new number of blades on shaving razers...

are we going to hit 4 fans soon.

No point since I don't have any trouble running games at 4k 60fps, 980 tri-sli.

Was thinking about it. But I'm gonna stick with my 980ti for now
I think I'll upgrade the next go around

I was seriously tempted to buy this over the GTX Classified, but both GPUs were physically too big for my mini-ITX build at the time, hence why I down-sized to the MSI GTX 680 :(

960 here, I doubt it. This thing is perfect at 1080p and I can even eke playable 1440p out of it in most titles. I can't see any upgrade proving to be a sufficient value proposition.

980ti here, not till the 1080ti

>building tiny gaming rigs
I never quite got this. You're giving up most future expandability, severely reducing your choices of components, reducing your airflow and this killing your components faster, and giving yourself less room to work in and route cables... all so that your case can be a few inches smaller?

were you expecting hbm?

lol

Not necessarily.

This is the coolest running mini-ITX build I've ever had (coolest running completely air-cooled ever). The GPU has two 120mm fans blowing about 15mm away from it and the CPU cooler has a 120mm about 10mm away from it.

That said, when the Cougars are firing at max RPM, it does get a tad loud.

they do it for the looks not the logic.

Waiting for Polaris. I'm never spending over $600 on a gpu.

My nigga. You get that 4k monitor yet?

What do you find cute about that? Why is someone being useless cute to you?

Having a kawaii~ gaming beast is very practical, especially if you live in a sardine can and/or limited with a smaller desk/storage space.

I have sitting behind my main monitor.

perf/watt is so boring

Friend, I'm running 2 7950's. They are like fucking blow dryers in my case. I don't mind because I'm always over 60fps in BF4. But it would be nice to have my shirt of when I'm using my computer during the summer.

Agreed.

...

I dot see it she just seems like a special needs child to me

Upgrading my 970s in SLI to 1070s in SLI
Waiting for the 1080 Tis to complete the set though

Why do that instead of a single 1080?

but it is a coin . . .

Especially needs the dick

Because the single 1080 is inevitably going to get cucked out by the 1080 Ti?
I always buy the *70 and *80 Ti cards, so there.

have a 760, upgrading to 1070. I am not a hardcore gamer.

>wanting to fuck people with no talent

Being hot as fuck is a talent.

Explains why there's so many virgins on here...

She has the mannerisms of a fucking 7 year old what the hell is "hot" about that?

Everything.

Who is this subhuman whose only purpose is to be a public toilet?

>tfw planning on upgrading to a 1080 from 2 560 Tis

Can't wait. Getting a 1440p monitor too.

>Anyone here with a 900 series card upgrading to the 1000's?
No. I bought a GTX 770 2GB back in 2013 and haven't needed to upgrade since.

Oh I get it you are a peado and yet you probably don't think yolandi is cute

Nah, I wouldn't touch an actual kid. I'd fuck an autismfu like JUSTen who acts like one though.

>tfw still using a gtx 670 and will upgrade to Polaris 10
>will go from shit performance and 2GB vram to fury/Fury X performance

Yolandi is 32 years old definatly not a kid

>using a gtx 670 and will upgrade to Polaris 10

are you me?

I'm upgrading from an 8800 GTX to the 1070
Will I see a big difference?

nah its about the same

>2010

children lol

Most mITX cases can fit a full sized GPU unless you buy a tiny HTPC sized case. At the same time, not being retarded will majorly help with airflow in mITX

>tfw 670 and want 1080 because muh 1440p
I know I'm gonna get gimped but I can't wait for the TI

What kind of child can afford multiple GPUs a year? I certainly wouldn't be buying that shit for my kid instead of myself.

trust him

she's also ugly and looks like an old man

>i5-6600
>gts250
>1680x1050

Can't wait to buy 1080 and fly the fuck out.

>but as it stands now the my trusty card could run anything i threw at it 60fps on a 1900x1200 screen

stop lying. you need to turn down settings to low/medium for modern games. even then you'll probably get dips into the 40's on games like rise of the tomb raider.

>Anything I threw at it
Faggot is probably playing mobas or csgo or old games.

Upgrading from a raedon 9800 pro to a 1080 will I see any difference?

>nvidia
HAHAHAHAHA

Then you can get another 1080 in the future
