To be honest, I hardly play games other than really simple stuff like Euro Truck Simulator or some web-tier shit like slither.io, so I'm not saying this out of butthurtedness from being some gaymer. That being said, games aren't wasting anyone's time. Someone playing a game, sparing outstanding exceptions, made a conscious decision to play whatever game they chose, normally for entertainment. Sure, they could have been learning a language or getting a job or something, but if they chose a game over that stuff it's not like they're going to contribute to society too soon anyway.
In summary, games aren't grabbing useful members of society and sucking the life out of them. It's only really taking time away from the kind of people that play games often (and that group doesn't cross over with successful people too much). So please take you and your superiority complex to some other board.

I was reading about their step up program and it seemed like a pain in the ass. That's why I let nvidia cuck me with their expensive card. However I'm not a poorfag so it's not a big deal.

Damn dude. I did ~$1300 build including the card I got today. My old setup had a gtx 460. Literal housefire tier. It blew up about a month ago, ironically the first chance I'd had to game in about a year.
