I have Windows 7 installed from a torrent. It's been like 5 years and I recently started getting an error message that says
"This copy of Windows is not genuine", and "You may be a victim of software counterfeiting ".
I hardly use my computer for anything other than Netflix now, and it is super fucking annoying having it pop up every 15 minutes while I am trying to watch my shit before bed.
How to fix?

I got this same issue when I swapped motherboards.
You can literally just delete the executable for the popup.
When the popup comes up open the task manager and go to processes.
I can't remember what it's called, but right click the process and Open file location.
Delete the executable and you're good.
