Asking "Hey guys, what's your opinion on x?" is frowned upon. Wireless is frowned upon. Headset requests are frowned upon. Noise isolation ≠ Noise cancellation If you dislike a headphone suggestion, try giving a better suggestion to whomever asked instead of going "hurr, brand x sucks"
Requesting the webm of the audiophile crying while listening to crystal clear sound.
Bentley Lopez
I like my SRH840s too, but that's an accident waiting to happen.
Nolan Howard
Wouldn't that fiio thing sound like ass 'boosting' your headphones?
Anyway, my end game. I've spent stupid money on this hobby but i'm now perfectly happy with what I have. Spending any more than what I have is a fucking meme and i'm already sniffing the ring piece of meme territory.
Jack Edwards
get STAX before calling it a day
Juan Scott

Seriously i'm done and I fucking love my setup, particularly the 712's.

I hope you mean that autist in CES where he listens to Orpheus and not Tyll in agony.
i'm wondering if he would start crying if he were listening to a pair of headphones EQed to sound like the orpheus
Dylan Kelly
Think he got it wrong m8, understandable I guess
Brody Bennett
He's clearly a faggot but that's not exactly how EQ's work m8, if that was the case then multiple headphones wouldn't even need to exist.
Gavin Ramirez
Made a webm.
Carter Ross
Thanks alot!
Andrew Roberts
>Thanks a lot! Fixed. It's 2 words, moran.
Joseph Wright
He could be foreign, dickhead.

I am from the south, however I have never cracked a whip. You are more than welcome to come to my home and share some smokey treats and drink.
Elijah Mitchell
audiocucks, I dare you to do a blind test between a 200 pair of headphones like hd598 compared to hd800 with a 1000$+ amp/dac setup
pro tip: they sound the same, it's all placebo baby
Wyatt Hughes
since when does hd 598 rape your ears with treble?
Hunter Price
"trebble" is just a buzzword invented by audiofools, there is no such thing as trebble, only frequencies that ur brain hears.
Angel Davis
Superlux HD669
Christian Roberts
I need some help getting new headphones but the template was too much for me. I just want something alike the Shibuya from Philips, which I had but broke all by itself. Can you recommend me something similar?
Kayden White
The fuck is happening here.
Is this an "audiophile"?
Austin Smith
>Wouldn't that fiio thing sound like ass 'boosting' your headphones? Why would it?
>that's not exactly how EQ's work m8 Yes, but- >if that was the case then multiple headphones wouldn't even need to exist. That doesn't quite follow.
Overacting. He hates that headphone.
Owen Morales
Hold on niggas, does the term 'cracka' come from 'cracking the whip'?
I'm not american but I used to listen to rap music all the time and I never made this connection. I just kind of assumed an actual cracker=white etc
Camden Murphy
That's why I call all black people Niggers.
If they are going to call white people 'crackers' because they're upset a few white people in USA were slave owners, then I too can overgeneralise.
Parker Perry
>Is this an "audiophile"? no, he loves tube amps and the HD 800 he also has no clue how to use an equalizer
Jace Watson
>Budget $60 >Location USA >Source PC/Mobile/Stream >Preferred type of headphone buds >Comfort level pretty comfy, work in warehouse so for long periods of time while at work >Preferred music I listen to pretty much anything from stuff from the 50's to current, mostly on the rock side >Past headphones Cheap-o $15 Phillips or Sony buds for more than 11 years back then I didn't mind because I didn't use them for long periods of time now I feel the difference so to say.
Thank you

I'm with you but that's not my point m8, does the term cracker/cracka exist because slave owners 'cracked' the whip.
I always knew it was their equivalent to nigger but I never actually knew what it meant.
Adrian Jenkins
Thanks for the suggestion I'll try anything so will look this up.
Asher Bailey
Who here /spicandhypeforamazonsale/?
John Wright
>[THE CURRENT YEAR] >USING AN EQUALIZER >AT ALL Holy kek enjoy being cucked by the Jews faggot
Bentley Hughes
>does the term cracker/cracka exist because slave owners 'cracked' the whip. Yes. Die.
Jace Howard
Wow that's weird, I always assumed it was because crackers were kind of white, and i'm very familiar with nigger terms from all the rap music I used to listen to. Makes more sense I guess
Josiah Brown
So are stax the definitive endgame?
Joshua Fisher
reposting but with a different budget if thats alright >Budget $1000 >Location US >Source Schiit Magni/Modi >Preferred type of headphone Full-sized >Open or closed Open >Comfort level idc >Preferred tonal balance neutral but easy on the treble could be somewhat bassy not super picky as long as the high end isnt screechy >Preferred music rap, classical >Past headphones hd600
Easton Roberts
Stax L700 or bust. Now fuck off you idiot and do your own research before throwing around 1,000 willy nilly.
Carter Fisher

Enigmacoustics Dharma D1000 by far the best you can get under 1000.

Do any of you ride bikes ? I am only interested in IEM for life. You cant wear cans and helmet.... sigh.
You fell for the meme. Most KZ headphones are bass heavy.
Parker Green
How hard to drive are the Beyerdynamic DT990 250 ohms? Fucking poorfag amazon doesn't carry any variants of any Beyerdinamic less than 250 ohms
Hudson Parker
It's fucking nothing ese Fucking nothing Literally TVs and Barbie dolls
Jaxon Cook
not very and you don't want the 32 ohm model because they're shit.
William Ortiz
I'm guessing an iPhone won't be enough. I don't have the details for the built in DAC/AMP on my TV but I'll probably need a better one What should I look for to properly drive them?
David Young
unless your iphone is very old it will be fine
Easton Bell
You're not memeing me are you m8? It's an iPhone 6
Charles Edwards
Thinking of getting the Schiit combo, is it considered neutral & accurate? I'm strongly opposed to the tube meme of making everything sound like the audio equivalent of a baby's safety blanket.
David Hall
my 250ohm dt880 was fine from my iphone 5.
what makes you think they're so difficult to drive?
Parker Wood
you're severely overestimating the difference an amp will make if it isn't complete and utter broken shit.
Daniel Jackson
>Noise isolation ≠ Noise cancellation
elaborate?
Jaxon Jackson
he was meant to post active noise cancellation and passive noise isolation.
Gavin Kelly
not in the form of the thread or really a reply at all but for those with not a shit ton of money, get the AKG K612 Pro. For the money, (can be fount for 130-160) they are extremly balanced, detailed, and comfortable. Compared to the K7xx, i would say they have smoother and more accurate trebble, albiet without the bass boost of the K7XX. Now that I have tried both, I probably wouldn't have bought the K7XX and just stuck with the K612
Noah Moore
>AKG just end it now senpai
Matthew Lopez
Why is zeos such a shitty reviewer
Isaiah Smith
because he doesn't know what he's talking about in the slightest and people confuse his ignorance for 'honesty'
Bentley Morris
He made a video poking fun at audiophiles, hit the nail on the head.
Angel Thomas
What are you talking about? I think a lot of people enjoy my content.
Andrew Price
90% of his reviews are sperging out on packaging, cable, etc. and little to actual sound quality which typically is limited to either "I don't like it" or "best thing evar!" Perhaps his worst "review" is the RHA MA750 which was pretty much "it's the only IEMs I have tried other than some cheap Mi IEMs I've got around here somewhere. Best IEMs evar!"
Jayden Roberts

Im downloading 192/24 for the first time and a lot of tracks have a static/interference sound. Is it normal?

Oh shit. It needs "Mini Toslink Male to Toslink Male Optical Adapter Cable" though. It can't be too expensive.
Is there any way I can make two playback devices on Windows 7 play at the same time?
Wyatt Thomas
should I get an he400i?
Aaron Torres
no
hd600 is better
Leo Ortiz
I can get two playback programs to run at the same time on Windows 7 but only get one audio playback of the two.
Adam Clark
Oh yes. I see what you mean. Thanks.
Anthony Allen
I own some HD 598s without a DAC or amp.
Insult me.
Nathaniel Thompson
Possible if your software supports choosing the audio output device. For example you can set Foobar2000 to output to any chosen audio device without touching the system default. This way two devices are playing at the same time.
Josiah Butler
Thanks. I'm using foobar to play from my main dual ES9018 DAC. And mediaplayerclassic to play from my HiFime ES9018K2M DAC. To my ears they're level matched.
Is there anything wrong with my A/B test? I'm using both the amp part of my O2+ODAC and my Violectric V100.
Gabriel Rivera
I will use the Sescom. I received this Aliexpress switch today.
Sebastian White
>want to lay in bed and enjoy my headphones >too scared of falling asleep, leaning on them and snapping them
help
Jaxon Morales
I changed my method of A/B. Using the O2 or Violectric V100 with 3.5mm switchbox was flawed. I can obviously hear one of the amps sound different.
Now both DACs are now connected to one amp and I don't know the difference. Both are 24bit and 192000Hz.
I wonder what's the difference if you compare a basic ODAC, Modi 2 Uber or a HiFime 9018 against a Schiit Yggdrasil. But only if you have a Sescom switch box. Anyone know?
Elijah Wood
Even on the Amazon page it says they're designed to be used with an amp system. So anyone else got any experience with this? will an iPhone 6 be fine to drive these?
