Midrange Polaris runs Doom at 1440p 144hz

>Midrange Polaris runs Doom at 1440p 144hz

>Meanwhile Nvidiacucks have to pay hundreds more for the same performance

Go ahead and shitpost all you want Nvidiatards, we've already won.

Currently have a GTX770. Should I be a good goy and get a 1070, or should I fall for the wait meme and see what polaris cards offer?

Depends if you have a lot of disposable income. If I was making about four times the amount I do now, I'd definitely just hop from card to card. I have a feeling from experience of owning an AMD system, that Poo-laris will be quite underwhelming, same with Vega.

Wasn't there supposed to be a livestream?

Yeah, what time in GMT is it tomorrow?

if ya got a microcenter buy a 1070 when it's out and buy the 2yr warranty. then when Polaris comes out and if it's better just return the 1070 saying it's acting up and get full refund back on a gift card and get amd instead.

polaris is mid-range, mainstream market cards, if you want something more powerful you'll have to wait for Vega.

When is the reveal?

Wait for one day you retard

>Midrange Polaris runs Doom at 1440p 144hz

Nope. It's playing at 1080 and using a frame target of 75-90.

Honestly, if II can get fury x/980 ti performance from polaris 10 I'll be retiring my 290. It can get its reference cooler back and go into my server for compute tasks.

>runs Doom at 1440p with render scale set to 50%

980Ti level performance (well slightly higher in fact) is where the 1070 is at, so it's unlikely at least until much, much later this year.

>we

Do you actually believe that your input contributed to Polaris?

Normally I'd agree but I'm like 76% sure at this point that he's on Nvidia's payroll.

I don't want to be a contrarian but did they say it ran said game at 144fps or more? So far we know it was downsampled 1440p to 1080p which is nice but we don't know if it was running at 60fps/144hz for example

mfw I just realized I can get another reference 290 for $250 and use it for compute in xfire in my "server". Once zen arrives it will get my 8350 too and I'll just throw a tower cooler on it.

>290 for $250
Too expensive.

Why are you lying?

>implying people don't shill for free

Where are proofs?

>playing on a 144hz monitor means it's running at 144 fps

>MUUUUH GAYMES
