Best FPS Gaming Mouse

I was looking on the Sup Forums wiki and saw the same image used from 2014.

I'm looking for a good FPS mouse similar to my current Kinzu. I don't care about buttons, besides a DPI toggle switch, and I just want a comfy mouse with good ergonomics.

Suggestions? By the way, has anybody updated the guide since I left in 2014?

Commit suicide.

Suggestions on method? I don't want any of my guns to be used because fuck Bloomberg.

The razer cuckhold naga 2000 go buy it on the razer official website im loving it rn i can play csgo and watch twitch streams all at the same time

There's no point in buying an FPS mouse since your eyes can only see up to 30 FPS.

I'm a bit wary of Razer products. Half of my friends/family use them and all have bad experiences.

pls

FUCK OFF BACK TO SLASH VEE SLASH YOU PIECE OF SHIT

Everyone seems to love the G303 if you want something small, minimalistic and with a great sensor.

Razer's shit, and everyone on Sup Forums knows it. If they're recommending it, they're trolling.

Don't really remember what other mice are Sup Forums approved atm, but Logitech and Steelseries seem to be the most popular brands I see around here.

...

I've never been to Sup Forums. I used to browse Sup Forums back in the day but now I'm on /k/ and Sup Forums.

I've narrowed my options down to
>SteelSeries Rival 300
>Logitech G502 Spectrum
>Logitech G303
>Corsair M65
>Zowie FK2

Thanks, I appreciate it. Don't know if you know much about any of the mice said above.

/k/ and /o/*

>I've never been to Sup Forums
>Now I'm on /k/ and Sup Forums
You fucking what?

I meant /o/

I had Sup Forums on my mind.

M65 and Rival 300 are both great, but G303 has a better sensor than both.
Comes down to which one you'd find more comfortable in the hand.

G502 is the only other mouse Logitech makes with the same sensor as the G303, so it's another solid choice if you're looking for more features.

Not familiar with Zowie's mice.

Appreciate it.

I've always been a fan of SteelSeries, so I'm a bit biased towards them. My budget is pretty much limitless, but there seems to be no reason to buy a $150 mouse over a $60 one.

Yeah, I get that.
Only reason mice in that price range are worth it is if you actually care about things like adjustable weights, or hybrid wired/wireless.

For me personally, the only product line of Logitech's I care about are their mice, and they've always made my favorites.
Have owned Corsair and Razer mice in the past, but always ended up going back.

Crank it up to 10000dpi

Ive heard that Steelseries tend to fall appart after a while.

Zowie is the way to go.

I am in love with my EC2-A.

I decided on the Logitech G303 because of the sensor.

The G502 is just so fucking ugly and I can't bring myself to buy it.

I bought pic related cause it was comfy and cheap and has dpi switches and forward/back buttons for browsing. Also the quality seems pretty nice for the price. My only complaint is that my right mouse button is pretty sensitive so if I'm not paying attention sometimes I'll click it by mistake just from resting my finger on it

They also have the riced out version with the corsair gaming logo if that's your thing

>I've never been to Sup Forums. I used to browse Sup Forums back in the day but now I'm on /k/ and Sup Forums.
What

mice are technology

I use this and teh buttons are nice for binding 3-step actions to a single mouse button
>equip medkit, throw medkit, switch back to primary

M65 has a annoying "sniper button" that lowers dpi
The button is too sensitive
Logitech has good buttons but shit sensors (tracking issues, acceleration)
Zowie FK2 and Rival 300 are avarage

>Razer
>Not the G600 or Scimitar.

FADE

Whats the red button?

to be fair, I fell for the meme when I was 15 and haven't spent a dime on another mouse since. I got cucked so I refuse to be cucked again.
>inb4 underageb&, it's a naga 2012 so the math

I've been using a logitich g9 for 10 years and reach the top 1% of ranked mm in CSGO when I'm feeling it.

The best mouse is whatever you get used to. The rest is adverts.

Why dont more mice implement vertical thumb buttons?

unironically the Deathadder. out of all the mice ive tried, and believe me i was getting a new mouse to try every other week, i always went back to it when i played CS

>vertical thumb buttons
explain?

logitech g402

I've been using a Logitech G9x for a very long time but recently the Mouse Wheel is no longer working properly...

Is there any new mouse that can even get remotely to the perfection of this masterpiece?

This one of course

>I've never been to Sup Forums
I can tell. That's why I'm telling you to go there. Because this thread is more related to Sup Forums than Sup Forums. Go post there. Please. Bye.

Open it and clean from hair. It uses optical sensor for wheel, that coiled shit on its axis. Done it several month ago and it works perfectly now.

I'd suggest the rival 300, the only issue I've had with it is that the pads under the mouse wear fast if you have a razer vespula or a mouse pad that has a bumpy top. Also the I had an issue with the grippy rubber pads on the side of the mouse wearing fast, but both issues were fixed with an rma.

amazing sensor

How are the side buttons, are they omron switches?
I have the ec1-evo and the side buttons are fucked.

Want a mouse not a transformer.

ayyy the g502 and g303 have the 3366 sensor, which to the best of my knowledge is the undisputed supreme sensor with neither of those issues.
what year r u from m8?

Is the Mionix Castor any good?

>ambidextrous
>optical sensor 2500dpi
>cheap
>on board memory for 3 profiles (red, green, blue)
>comfy af

Has lasted me 3 years

is the g900 good?
i dont really care about wireless but it looks better than the g502/402

this

This
My EC1-A has been great since I broke in the scroll wheel

Get Zowie, they have proven flawless sensors and a range of ergonomics options (left, right, ambidextrous, size, weight)

If you want cheaper steelseries rival also has a flawless sensor and is not too expensive.

it's pretty impressive for everything it gives. Same sensor as G502/G303 which are the best on the market. Lighter than the G502 (130g) at 107g.

Apparently the wireless mode doesn't lose any tracking performance so it's 10/10 aside from shape. Wait for an ergonomic version to come out if you hate ambi

What's wrong with the shape?
only reason why I'm getting it is because it's the least GAYMER looking out of all the mice.

Shape is personal preference, I don't like ambi for long sessions but if you like it go for it.

Just bought the g402 yesterday, did I do good.

G303 is pretty close, but you lose 2 buttons. That was a deal killer for me. Roccat Kone Pure is pretty similar too, but Military didn't work on my mousepad so it went back too.

I got a G402 as an emergency replacement when my G9 finally died, and I liked it so much that I stopped trying to find a G9 replacement. It's small enough that, despite the shape, it touches my hand only where the G9 did. Though I imagine that if you have tiny hands it would be a palm grip.

I like walthers

Me too.

Whats that shit attached to your barrel?

I play csgo (smfc+) I've used the Rival and Rival Fade, Flusha from fnatic uses one as well for what it's worth also I have friends that use/used Razer Deathadders with very positive experiences. Im keen to try the Zowie EC2 but it's a bit pricey just to test out.

upvoted

only thing I would say is the EC2 over the FK2 there's a lot of pro cs players that rock the EC2

Is the g402 any good for FPS? I just got it and I don't know enough about mouse to know how it performs. I got it because it was comfy compared to the Razer Death adder Chroma, and it was the "fastest FPS mouse" whatever it means

it's called a suppressor, nigger.

It's an enquietener.

It's a tremendously good sensor, one of the best. Turn off all acceleration and dial the DPI to what you're used to.

Canon 40D, Tamron 28-75 SP and Canon 580EX flash.

For a long time I thought these gaymer mouses were a meme, I bought G502 because it was relatively cheap and was praised mouse.

Used it for a couple of months, thought it was completely average mouse until few days ago at my friend's I used two other mouses and they were so fucking terrible in comparison.

Funny I thought.
>inb4 shill

A good mouse is all about the sensors most modern "gaming" mice use good sensors as seen here so it's just a choice of aesthetics, budget and what feels good in your hands.

It's the best mouse out right now in the market.

>the best optical sensor you can buy right now
>very light
>good, durable and nice switches which won't break easily
>wireless isn't a nightmare like on other wireless mice
>ambidextrous

only cons are the hefty price tag, lack of ergonomic shape and people seem to report logitech a lot for having really bad customer support.

Zowie EC1-A is your go-to buddy.

Is it really a good sensor? I got it for pretty cheap, how does it fare compared to the expensive mouse. Still a comfy mouse, razer had this weird plastic thing that makes my fingers tingle.

Also what acceleration? I use 800 DPI.

This. Just get a deathadder. Nice buttons, great sensor, fits non-manlet hands well.

I concur. EC1-A is the best choice. Bought one last week after layers and years of shill
- Track record
- maturity
- Discretion

Any rich fag will tell you how discretion is a part of virtue and how many wings were burnt for being too brazen.

Many brands don't show as much on reviews or comparisons because they're simply in another league: seasonic, lianli, noctua to name a few.

I play CS since beta 7.1 - look at SpawN, intellimouse explorer -- look at Potti, playing with the arrow keys

Equipment and style for that matter, doesn't correlate with skill.

I have the mx518 and its a great mouse, back then we've been warned that laser was going to replace optical and to stock up...

Saying that the "sensor" is everything is diminishig performance to quantifiable material specs and as a human you'd rather translate talent and optimus into the fit which is style and taste

This discussion on overmarketed spaceship logitechs is like saying lamborghinis are better than ferraris - to have the average consumer buy a 360 modena when the real connaisseur owns an Enzo and is discrete about it because he knows and it just raises in value

No harm in fanboys but open your awareness to the spectrum for higher definition

for noscopez headshot

Yes "they" say it's very very good. But it's pricey as fuck and you can get "flawless" sensors for about half.

Genius M6-600 for example is supposed to have one of those great sensors and that's about £30

The EC1 is the slightly beefier shape yeah?

Alienware TactX

>lack of ergonomic shape

Unless you have a full-blown retard claw grip, it should be a dealbreaker right there. Most realise that the further a design moves away from the standard ergonomic intellimouse example the quicker you'll want to fuck it off for being an uncomfortable piece of shit.

If you do make certain it's the chroma
Earlier models supposedly had sensor issues
Not that I'd ever recommend a Razer product. Burned too many times

It's the only Razer I'd recommend.

>200 EUROS
LMAO AS IF

Don't worry, you did well. Don't let the cheap price bother you, most of logitech's older products eventually drop significantly in price as they get older, but it's still a pretty good mouse.

Sensor technology didn't really change much, PMW3366 and PMW3360 still are the two best optical sensors on the market, and most of logitech's mice only utilise these two sensors if I recall. For more expensive mice, you're essentially just paying extra for a bunch of fancy LEDs, better material/better switches (though logitech's old mice already have good, durable design). The difference between 3366 and 3360 is also barely unnoticeable, so it's not worth it paying extra just for the sensor.

Stay away from these no name 'custom made' sensors as much as possible, most of them are downright terrible. Stick only to PMW.

I think the g402 uses the AM010

I got this rival 300 3 months ago and while it's nice the problem is the rubber stuff they used on the side where your thumb rests. Mine has been reduced to a slick nothing only after 3 months ago, theres no more rubber padding but an annoying groove.

Oh. Hehe, I misread that as g502 for some reason xd. Well the AM010 is badly reviewed in a lot of places unfortunately.

I doubt you got Rival 300, because the rubber problem was with the original Rival, while Rival 300 uses the same design, but has improved rubber sides so they wouldn't disappear. Have one myself, for about 6 months now, doesn't seem any different from when I bought it

Yea, 400/800/1600/3200 dpi on the fly, with qck heavy

"Mouse Guide 2.0: A list of mice with superior sensors and more" for more details

Just buy any Logitech mouse for 20-30€ and be on your way.

The g502 was too expensive for me though, and I felt like I'm gonna accidentally click on of its many buttons.

Do people seriously use dedicated "gaming mice"?

Jesus, just get a cheap logitech or a microsoft mice.

>Do people seriously use dedicated "gaming mice"?

Why not? It's good hardware, made from good material and has very good sensors. Most good technology is marketed towards gamers anyway. I'm not a big fan of the 'gaymer design' either, but gamers get the first thing almost every time. It's either them or enterprise companies.

It's an interfsce to tighten the gap between physical and digital, the intention and execution to let any talent express itself even if only few are Mozart.

CS is competitive in its own right, only the player matters which is the whole point.

Mouse ergonomics and sensors are important for some fps games.

Mouse ergonomics and sensors are important for everything, any and all ergonomics are important

Ducky Secret is best mouse, pbt body, quality pixart sensor, Omicron switches, NO FUCKING SOFTWARE NEEDED.

Hey mousepeople, I need a new mouse+mousepad and user found an Asus store fuckup where you can get a $200 mouse for $60 including a mousepad. Called an ASUS ROG Spatha.
Thread here: What's the deal with the ADNS-9800 sensor? I saw some spergings about lag, but also a mention that it was a firmware problem that is now fixed.

Thoughts?

Buy that shit, sell the shitty mouse for like a 100$ and buy any other mouse ever, some mice to consider:
SS Rival 300(or some new one with bullshit like a fucking screen on a fucking mouse)
Zowie mice(don't require software)
Razer Deathadder(I've heard it's extremely comfortable, doesn't feel better than my Rival for me though)
Logitech G502/G402/G303 or whatever if you're not disgusted by that terrible design and extra bullshit buttons like SNIPE
Mionix, although the famous Naos didn't feel that good and basically has only one possible way to hold the mouse
Asus ROG Gladius seemed good, but I've only read about it on their site, so who the fucks knows
Then there are some non mainstream shit that can be either awesome or shit like the or the Final Mouse

My deathadder chroma just broke, censor keeps cutting out and it keeps double clicking. Somethings broken and it isn't my usb ports or drivers since i've wasted alot of time on checking those.
