install LibreOffice 'cause MSOffice is too bloated for what I need

I mean, are they even trying?
How fucking difficult is it to fix this fucking gargabe UI?
Why don't they just copy the RibbonUI or at least try to improve it?

No. Even the Chinese are able to produce a better office suite.

Too hard for you indian brain? Fuck off pajeet

what are you referring to? Are there better alternatives?

desu this shit is so much better than libreoffice kingsoftstore.com/software/kingsoft-office-freeware

WTF is that real?

As you know, all things Linux are function > form.

LibreOffice follows the XML standard very well, unlike MS.

No one wants your chinese botnet software

what is the problem?

> neon blue on black background
> dark style for a office suite
Fucking disgusting, I bet you don't use it even on a monthly basis.

>dark style for a office suite
I prefer dark styles because it's nicer for the eyes.

>Fucking disgusting
ok but to be honest i prefer a lot how LO looks with a dark theme and the breeze dark icons than how MSO looks, htat's a reason why i'd hardly change my office suite.

>I bet you don't use it even on a monthly basis.
if betting and guessing is your best argument i can't do much for you.

>install LIbreOffice 'cause I don't have the $400+ to drop on a commercial license
>open Calc
>get shit done
Fixed it for you.

Also, not everyone is a poorfag student who can get the student version and not violate their license agreement.

Also, I don't want to hear "get student version and not tell" while trying to sound like "I'm legit I paid for a license". No you didn't, you little cocksucker.

Also, no upgrade treadmill @ 400+ approx every 3 years.

Also, if you don't like how it looks, fix it yourself you goddamn lazyass, must we spoonfeed and wipe your ass too?

Pic completely unrelated.

They should ship it with Breeze Icon Theme + Icon Size set to Small as a default settings.
I don't get why they keep using fucking Tango.

This depends on the packager, ubuntu 16.04 ships the breeze icons by default for example

I just use Google Docs for everything. My Ubuntu laptop is basically a Chromebook with Steam.

LO/OO devs are probably nostalgiatards who are afraid of the Ribbon interface like everyone else, instead they hang on to the even shittier, wasteful Office '97 look for some reason.

That or they're just too incompetent to do anything but continue to repackage StarOffice with trendy (ca. 2005) half-assed icons.

>open Calc
>get shit done
said nobody ever

Too bad the UI is a critical part of the function of a piece of software, even more critical than whether or not it properly saves in a document format nobody gives a shit about outside of *nix space.

wps office

This is the reason why I use Excel.

You wouldn't have said that if it were 2003

I remember when everyone shat on the ribbon in word

>you wouldn't have said that when that interface was all there was
Wow, no shit????
