D-do I still get to be a qt lesbian like in the picture?

Yes.

>having to update the whole system every day
Ayy lmao

...

>Waiting every tuesday for updates

You mean sudo apt-get dist-upgrade?

don't forget to add an alias in your .bashrc
='sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade'

Is that Honoka and Maki?

more like alias ='sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade'

nah mate
myanimelist.net/anime/20047/Sakura_Trick

and its the "debian for lesbians" not "arch for lesbians"
stealing piece of shit

What is the extra y for? I've been using arch for a few months.

alias upgrade-all='sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade'

Thanks, I was waiting for someone to post that.

>new kernel out and it's already out of date

I don't like Debian. It's got old packages and I'm forced to use backports for more up to date packages. Not to mention that it's implementation of Wayland is buggy as hell.

At least Fedora is usable in that respect. I use Trisquel now.

>itt newfags that don't know we used to create this threads when a new linux version was released on arch

Don't forget to

alias JUST='sudo pacman -Syu --force --noconfirm'

in your zshrc.

good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im still pissed about the op image
idiot didn't even bother to change colour schemes

Debian testing is stable enough for everyday uses.

Force sync all databases even if they seem up to date. Rarely needed though, unless there's a problem you're fine with Syu

I'm comfortable with Trisquel now. I'm not looking to switch now. Maybe some time in the future.

Daily reminder for Arch users to sudo rm -rf /

And waiting 15 minutes for your computer to become usable if you haven't booted it in a couple weeks.

Daily reminder that this guy is an idiot, as that command will not work unless you add --no-preserve-root

Linicks retards can has updates too.

I was pretty happy with yaourt before, but maybe I'll try pacaur on my next Arch install.

Why would I use Arch Linux if it only supports Systemd? I also don't like precompiled binaries.

It will work if you use /* because UNIX shell is a poorly thought out language. rm safeguards are no more!

>this is a legal filename character
>shall we make it a special operator for everything in the path?
>YES!

A proper OS shell would work as follows 2bh fampai
>(delete "*" t) - deletes file or dir called * in cwd
>(delete "*") - deletes file called * in cwd, fails on folders
>(delete (list (cwd)) t) - rm -rf *
>bonus points: delete is part of the shell, not an external C program that could be faked, replaced, or bugged

>that clusterfuck

How do arch users put up with this crap? This is why a primarily ports based OS is superior if you want to have something like ports at all, ever.

You have the master ports tree, with a ports manager feature that lets you default to source or binary, and then instead of the "user repository" of shitty "pkgbuilds" aka broken ports, you have a community overlay. One package manager, one type of source > thirty thousand package managers, two types of source.

>having to
This is not Windows 10, you know.

ksh: sudo: not found
Welp
