Hey Sup Forums can I get some help in upgrading my computer?

hey Sup Forums can I get some help in upgrading my computer?

Which one would be better to use?

Also, Ancient Technology Thread

who's got the oldest shit?

The one with the fan. Likely has higher clock speed.

Look up the serial numbers.

Sell it junk shop and get the money to buy new ones seriously it's not worth it unless u want giant calculators.

>he thinks this is ancient tech
And people say summerfags aren't real...

Pretty sure near 20 years is middle age technology for computers

those are both gonna be shitty overclockers. might as well use the 266, unless you want cred for having the slowest P2 made in your machine.

Go with the blue one. It has slightly be specs.

Pentium II has more generations of CPUs after than before it. That seems pretty ancient to me.

Why were intel mainboards so much more advanced than everything else back then? I mean, just look at all those fucking SMD components.
I have a pentium 1 board which looks very similar

I presume you mean x86 CPUs?

yes

>somebody really bought the 233 and 266 Pentium 2
heh

Now I just need to also find some RAM on the side of a road

Get fucked.

>not 5 1/4 inch floppies

>Frequency (MHz) ? 266
you can't even hack time with that frequency

THROW IT IN THE TRASH

I can browser Sup Forums with 120MHz
GIT GUD

Would be nice if you didn't have flash on so we could see the markings on the chips.

???
there's plenty of shit you can run on a PII

there's more to computing than wasting away in front of a screen consuming e-celeb trash for 8 hours a day

266 all the way, the 233 was shitbox tier

pretty sure my T1100+ predates that model

>those fingers

POO

You ever thought about not shit posting?

>implying it's false

I'm mexican

lol, that's worse

YOU HAVE TO GO

I have this?

What should I do with it?

It still works, don't have the discs. Is it worthless?

Install gentoo

how?

you got 4 floppy drives, figure it out fgt.

Dem ISA slots tho....

can probably still find software for them on ebay, CP/M is obviously the first thing you'll need to boot it and get it working

after that, if you want to write your own images to it, you'll need a USB floppy drive, some disks and a transitional shitbox like a 386 or 486 with both 3.5'' and 5.25'' drives and utilities to write CP/M disks it can read

if you don't want to deal with it a collector will probably take it off your hands for upwards of $50-$100, they're not the very first osbornes but the name is enough to attract somebody's interest

>266 all the way, the 233 was shitbox tier
Not him but
>not choosing the top tier 333MHz model

the 333 is like a year newer
I don't even think the 300 came out until like 2 months after the 266 hit the shelves

I got a thinkpad with a p2. but even earlier than that rather crummy lappy i've got a mac 512k, an apple ii/c, and a couple of commodore 64s. basic pleb-tier hand-me-down noise. i'd love a lisa or an amiga. a pdp would blow me away.

Sell it to some hipster on ebay that'll display it in his house to impress all his hipster friends; charge out the ass for shipping that monster.

Doesnt matter, DVD's are at most 720x480. If ya want 1080p video then ya get a bluray player.

But either way I dont think your onboard would be enough especiallly since it has a agp slot.

You could try and get a ati raedon 4650, I thonk that had a agp slot
