No internet in new apartment

>no internet in new apartment
>no problem I'll just use my phone as a hotspot
>speed up to 7mb/s (that's megaBYTES, not BITS)

Do I even need normal internet or a router anymore?

Yes, the ping will be dogshit.

Is this troll bait. 4g data is expensive af

I thought about that, but my ping is usually around 60, which is more than good enough

Do you have minimum 50GB a month data on your phone plan?
If not you're going to run out fast

60ms is awful.

Not so in Finland, here you get limitless 4G by default, and paying more will just give you faster speeds

On LTE you'll get sub 100ms latency.

That's dogshit, though.

Uh that's not a mobile connection.

Bull fucking shit. They mean unlimited as in "unlimited facebook" there is probably a soft cap at 5 gb / mo

>mb/s
It's millibit per second. What you're thinking of is MB/s. Probably even MiB/s.

No, it's an example to show him that his 60ms ping is dogshit.

>May 25 - Jun 24
>75.50 GB
Nope

I struggle to feel in control of the games I'm playing at around 40ms. To each their own I guess

enjoy $15 / gigabyte

I love using my openbsd 4g router out on the range, but the price is ridiculous

No I was thinking about bytes, as in 8 bits, times a thousand....

fuck you and your bullshit country

this legitimately makes me depressed

Even in the UK there's a company that offers unlimited 4g with a soft cap of 1000gb.

Yes, but you wrote bits, and a thousandth of it.

No, be wrote bytes, as in 8 fucking bits you moron. Op even spelled it out for you, go kill yourself.

Sorry bro :3

I guess ping is a legitimate reason, but I'm really tempted to save money by just using 4G

???

Yes.

Cell tower bandwidth is very much a limited resources.

They might only be 150-200mbits of bandwidth available PER tower.

All of that bandwidth is shared by everyone connected to that tower, all it would take is a few heavy users in the area to bring everyone down to a crawl.

Are you fucking blind dude?

>I was driving 50 m/s (that's 50 kilometers per hour)

...

50 m/s
m = mile
s = siemens

Are you retarded?

>7mb/s (that's megaBYTES, not BITS)
Then write 7MB/s, you fucking retard.

>m = mile
Fine.

>s = siemens
Wrong. Siemens is S, not s.

op said finland. people live as distant as possible to each other there.

>autism

No, you are

Oh God I'm so sorry, I forgot you had autism

Just fucking lmao with this board, are you fucking kidding me right now? Holy mother of fuck, I bet you're a lot of fun at parties

They will limit your speed when they realize you're a heavy user

If you want to make clear which unit you are using, then use the correct symbol (or don't use them and just spell it out like you did anyway).

Using a wrong symbol only to spell it out immediately afterwards is pretty stupid.

Suppose for the sake of argument that you are right and that it is truly unlimited.

If everyone starts doing what you're thinking of doing, then suddenly the network will go to shit and you'll either have to have extreme QoS traffic shaping done, your unlimited goes out the window or the prices are going to go up.

I feel you

death to infidels

lol, k

Sorry I mean: Laughing Out Loud, Okay

PROTIP: I'm not actually laughing out loud, but usually when human beings write that, they mean they found something funny. In this case it would be your extreme autism

That's true actually, luckily Finland isn't very populated, so I can get away with it for now... save some money

No need to be so butthurt, everyone can be wrong. Just use the opportunity to learn and do it right the next time.

Use a mobile hotspot.

finbro here, I used 4G prepaid with unlimited data (30€/month) for a year. There was no ping problems with online games or anything. Also no need to use proxys or vpn.

Muricafags can suck a dick

Not butthurt in the slightest son, I just feel sorry for you

Don't worry though, you still have a chance to go on a date, like this guy:
youtube.com/watch?v=I-sFhCC39Ws

torilla tavataan bro

i shall use teh 4g

Which is why you actively refuse to acknowledge your mistake, right?

Really, are you 12?

What do you mean by "Are you 12"?

Does not compute *beep beep*

12 inches? 12 kilograms? 12 years?

I obviously mean 12 min (years) old.

Oh obviously

>straighttalk caps my 3G speeds at 3GB
>look at those idiots streaking Netflix to the big tv
>I bet they don't even have a custom OS
>my feet hurt
>I wish I was at hme

>Finland

It all makes sense now.

>7mb/s (that's megaBYTES, not BITS)
lrn2units, Pekka

>tfw i'll be studying in Finland starting next year
Feelsgood.tiff

Thank you based unlimited 4g. I keep falling asleep watching videos.

kek this is my usage (last 3 months), I pay ~25 EUR/month

You can get low pings but the jitter will be awful because its wireless internet. Whenever its negotiating the signal or there is any kind of interference there will be delays.
