What are some good areas of tech expertise if I want to be able to work and travel? Like contract work?
I'm not really sure where to start,
Should I learn html5, java, c++, frontend shit, backend shit or a bit of all?
Anyone have experience doing a job that lets them travel and work their own hours?

Your original question is like asking what companies you could run as a CEO while not even being a middle manager. Get gud, get employed in a company with international offices and show that you are competent. Python is a good place as any to start but you have a long road ahead of you if you are going to learn shit on an expertise level
