So I got myself the tier one meme 750 g2. Tested it and detected no coil whine or other disturbing issues.
However, I'm wondering whether the rm750i is significantly quieter? I can still return the 750 g2 and take the corsair, though it's about 20$ more expensive; I got the g2 at a good price.
Is it worth it, or should I just stay with the g2?

750 g2 i a superflower build. Can't go wrong with that
Isaiah White
maybe they sent it out for painting and re-chroming the fan grill
Dylan Peterson
psu isn't really an issue with noise
Evan Anderson
I've got a 750 P2 and it's been nothing but good to me. Not sure what to tell you OP, maybe it's an issue with your setup or maybe you got a bad unit?
Chase Rivera
It's not a bad unit, no coil whine or anything. I was just thinking whether it's worth getting the corsair rm750i for 20$ moar hoping it would be EVEN quieter than the g2
Caleb Richardson
Nah. Not worth the trouble.
Eli King
you know why I bough it febuary?
Isaiah White
I have a g2 650w and has no coil whine.

The G2 is literally the best 750W PSU on the market today. I had one for a year and it's completely inaudible. If you're really concerned about noise you can turn "eco mode" on which disables the fan at low load.
Chase Walker
What noise you dumbass? The G2 and P2 are FANLESS under 50% load.
I have a 650 P2 and it doesn't make literally any noise.
Jose Sanders
I didn't say it's noisy. I tested it at eco and eco-off and was satisfied. Was just thinking whether the rm750i would be any better and is worth the 20$ extra for less noise under load.

this is what I have

this is the poorfag option I had before buying the evga
