Last thread died before I could post a reply to the guy who wanted a script to reorder playlists. I made a script and added it as playlistmanager to the github script list. Just posting here if that guy happens to lurk.

When a full rewrite with checkedc? ^^"

Is there a way to watch twitch with the mpv player embedded and not external?

So, ANGLE versus dxinterop?
What's the big difference?

I'm using mpv (and youtube-dl) on windows 7 and I really want to use 'bestvideo[height

>youtube-dl.config
No such thing for mpv. Create mpv.conf file in the same directory with mpv.exe and paste it in

ytdl-format=bestvideo[height

Thank you user, it works great.

display-resample/vdrop modes are laggy (a lot of dropped frames, without even interpolation) with ANGLE + hwdec (any). GPU usage is low so it's not a performance issue.

Good thing you mentioned your GPU, your OS and your drivers (if applicable).

win 10, 660, 368.22

Same card, OS and drivers as I have, but I don't have that problem.
Which MPV version do you have, and can you copy any video related config you're using?

Whenever I use the option "icc-profile-auto", I have a warning about the contrast even though I added "icc-contrast=0" in the vo.
Is there anything I can do to get rid of it ?

bitbucket.org/rorgoroth/mpv-for-windows/downloads/mpv-2016.06.15-Win64.zip
vo=opengl-hq:user-shaders="~~/adaptive-sharpen.glsl":scale=ewa_lanczossharp
hwdec=auto
video-sync=display-resample

all 23.976 videos lag, but only when there are motion/rotation.

Try changing
vo=opengl-hq:user-shaders="~~/adaptive-sharpen.glsl":scale=ewa_lanczossharp
To
vo=opengl-hq:user-shaders="~~/adaptive-sharpen.glsl":scale=ewa_lanczossharp:backend=angle
First.

...

identical configs

What?

>backend=angle
is default

Since when?
What happens if you add it, does it stay the same? And what if you set backend=dxinterop?

yes, I tried that, also, as I said, it's only with angle

Interesting, let me try that build you're using.

I've tried, including high motion, but getting nothing of the same problems you're having.
Same hardware, same software. Even set the config to the same you have.
All I am lacking is the sharpen shader.

Found a way to fix this after more testing. You actually need to put any value except 0 in "icc-contrast". That mean you need to know the ideal contrast value for your icc profile.

Could anyone post the highest (reasonable, non-meme) preset?
Also, never cared to use shaders. Are they worth using? Running an i5-6600k.

Check your settings to make your filemanager able to see hidden folders and files. On unix in general, files starting in '.' are hidden

I don't use interpolation and I can't run video-sync=display-resample without choppy playback.

However I can run video-sync=audio.
But is it useful? Should I keep using it?

>Also, never cared to use shaders. Are they worth using? Running an i5-6600k.
From the looks of it mostly just the sharpen shaders are worth it, if you want to use sharpen.
what does estimated even mean on the stats.lua?

MPV used to not always set to 100% volume, but after the latest releases of bitbucket I've noticed that it has defaulted to that again, anyway to fix that and just make it remember the last volume played like before?

Two ways I can think of. A script that sets volume as X when mpv launches, or a script that reads from file that was written when closed.

>video-sync=audio
it's default, you don't need to specify it

>I can't run video-sync=display-resample without choppy playback.
seems like same issue that I have.

Never mind, I just noticed that opening a window with MPV, than putting a video on it makes the default volume 100% unless you have volume=## on config.

pretty fucking stupid, but alright.

Pretty comfy.

KDE is supposed to be pretty.
Why did you make it not pretty?

Disgusting

What the fuck is wrong with my colors?

This is pretty. Underworld theme. Don't knock it til you try it.

That's what I said when ya mom showed me her ladyparts.

at least copy the OP link list, you stupid faggot.

If the guy with this issue is here: github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/3255

I make test build mpv.exe to drop in place and try see if it is fix. It's on bitbucket download page (mpv-win64-92580dada.7z)

I don't have github to reply thread, goodnight.
