Gamer PC

My knowledge is very limited on pc hardware, especially GPU's
How is this for a gamer pc? (Will be my first)

>CPU: Intel core i5 6420P 3.4 GHZ
>GPU: Asus 4G GTX 970 Strix
>Motherboard: Asus B150M-A DDR4
>RAM: 8GB 2133MHz DDR4 Kingston Fury Ram
>Power: 600w 80+ Coolermaster
>Monitor: 24” 2ms Asus VS247HR
>1.059 $$$

hmm... missing a hard drive and a case

>gtx 970
Memes aside I would consider either an rx480 or a gtx 1070

You're right. 240ssd Sandisk plus

get a 980 you will deeply regret the 970

sad thing is its prebuild and the site won't let me change GPU.

It the 970 bad?

You may want to consider building it yourself. Logicalincrements.com has good builds for basically every budget. If not then the configuration you posted is in the "above average" range imo, should run everything well

appreciate your feedback! I live in Denmark, every thing here is fucking expensive..

>not just getting a new mobo and then getting everything else used
just get a used non K processor. i'd go used on the gpu too. you can probably find a really cheap 290x on Ebay.

Get a i5-6500 instead.
Don't get a GTX 970, wait for RX 480

So I should save up and build it myself even though i have no experience?

The 970 has 4gb advertised but can only utilize 3.5 effectively. Once you use more than that the card hits huge slowdowns as the ram gets overloaded in the buffer or something along those lines.

Basically it's shit.

wtf not getting that card then! thx for the heads up

Build yourself but don't get a GTX 970

A 970 is waste of money at this point. Get a RX 480 for 200 bucks. It has the performance of a 980/ti.
Go with a Gigabyte MOBO, they tend to be more reliable.

I will consider building it myself. Im a bit worried to do so tho

Building a PC in this day and age is easy as shit. There are tons of guides and how-to's floating around online so just google them.

If you played with lego's as a kid you shouldn't have a problem. It's just a matter of following the instructions and slotting in the pieces.
