ctrl shift escape. every time normies be like "Woah how u do dat?".

Then I go on my windows key shortcut list, blow their mind. Neck deep in puss.

It used to be that ctrl alt del did open task manager though...

>not just monkeyhanding the left side of the keyboard until ctrl+shift+escape makes it come up

rightclick on taskbar -> open task manager

>another grandma moves the mouse with arm movement instead of wrist episode
I want to die

Takes about 5x longer than slapping 3 fingers on the keyboard

I can force close firefox in probably about .7 or .8 seconds because this memory leaking fuck is never not at the top of the RAM use list

>I can force close firefox in probably about .7 or .8 seconds

The autism is crazy here, holy shit.

Even with a hand on keyboard, it still takes me about the same time to open it with either Ctrl Shift Esc or right clicking the taskbar. It's just a matter of preference and habit, honestly.

Then again, all those FPS games made my mouse movement much more precise and quicker.

This, I don't understand why the autists here are complaining.

Not autism to slap the left side of the keyboard and then delete+enter

>implying that arm movement isnt the superior way
how else will i play gaymes with my 18" 360?

>point crawls along the screen as grandma reaches for the exit button on chrome
>pointer speed at the lowest setting
>runs out of arm room so carries the mouse back to the starting position
>finally reached exit button, accidentally clicks maximize
I sometimes wonder about when I'm old, what new technologies will I be unable to fathom?

>i used xp ;)))
everyone here did.

Mobile phone UIs are already infuriating me. At least early on everything supported a close and context menu hardware button. Now it's a "multitasking" button, what the fuck is that if the long press home was originally that.

Thing infuriating me is just touch/heat sensitive buttons in general.

Like, for fuck sake, we as humans invented something that works no matter how you press it and then we all decided to downgrade to bullshit that only works in specific situations and has no nice tactile feedback

>right clicking your taskbar to open the task manager
>not just having it open everytime you log on and clicking the task tray icon

The young are so computer illiterate that it doesn't seem too far off to where we won't be using hardware buttons at all. We will be speaking voice commands to type out papers, the internet will be streamlined in a way that we can't even imagine now. The equivalent of being spoon fed gray matter everyday by our masters, in a horror movie like fashion. People who use keyboards and desktops will be close to nonexistent forty years from now.

I actually really like the flat capacitive buttons with a nice haptic feedback on them. Note it has to be from a device with a decent vibrate function though, how soggy the short vibrates on a lot of cheap devices is, is often overlooked.

>cluttering your taskbar for no reason
>not keeping your workspace as clean as possible
(You)

what's task manager?
did you mean
htop?

Doesn't matter either way when it takes 30 seconds to show up.

Did you fall for the minimalism meme?

Oooooooooooooooooooooooh

Sounds like hell.

My shit opens immediately upon pressing the keys with an SSD

It's fucking awkward to reach escape while pressing ctrl and shift. Faster to just right click.

>not using Win+X
8^)

>Then I go on my windows key shortcut list
There's one? How do I acces it?

>using the smiley with a carat nose

Win + D: minimizes all windows then back
Win + R: opens run window
Win + E: opens my computer
I only use these
any other useful Windows key shortcuts?

fug I thought you meant something like a built in shortcut list
>any other useful Windows key shortcuts?
Win+L: locks computer
Win+1-10 number: opens the pinned programs in the task bar in that order

>fug I thought you meant something like a built in shortcut list
not that guy tho
maybe he meant that
