Actually an mmo mouse the kind with 12 buttons on the side is perfect for working since you can bind macros to them. I use them all the time in photoshop.

The WMO was better in every aspect other than the lack of side buttons, but that doesn't matter much if you have mouse gestures instead.
The shape is god-tier, and it's low weight with good weight balance.
Hard to tell. But I like my Zowie FK a lot.

I've been using a trackball mouse for a day now. I must say it's pretty much superior to anything unrelated to gaming or graphic design (although I know some people are skilled enough to use a trackball for those as well).
