I can hardly stand 16:9. Are you per chance Chinese?

maybe

>banana

Reddit owns bananas now? I'm hungry.

Yellow Monkey'd

There's a nice 21:9 curated steam list here

Good choice.
I opted for a flat LG 34" 1440p

have fun watching youtube and anime in full screen op

think your speaker are backwards btw

You're right, I flipped them since my PC is on the right and the cables wouldn't reach to the main speaker on the left. Luckily they use RCA as input so I can just reverse L/R.

dank

You shouldn't smoke

But I do :(

"Banana for scale" is a retarded Reddit meme.

reporting in, loving it.

USB3 hub allowed me to put my machine in the other room so I have absolutely no noise in here.

Dell 34" reporting in. Best purchase ever.

>tfw no 144hz 16:10 monitor exists

It feels bad to be a programmer vidya gaymer.

Start vaping™

Do you live inside a 3D renderer?

>USB3 hub

Link?

Just get a 40 inch 4k.

But I vape aswell :(

Why not just get two 1920x1080 monitors? It's more screen space at a fraction of the cost.

>1080p

>muh bezel

>Buy 3x Dell 30" 2560x1600 IPS monitors for $500 in total with amazing image quality

or

>Buy 1x chinkshit ultrawide meme monitor with shitty panels made by AUO, tons of backlight bleed and horrible quality control for $1000

Tell me where you can get 3 Dell 30" 2560x1600 IPS monitors outside of Tyrone on Ebay.

3440*1440 = 4953600
1920*1080*2 = 4147200

>more screen space

Show me these monitors.

Thinking about it OP. Looks more comfy than 2 24" monitors

My previous setup was dual monitors, one 24" 1080p and one 27" 1440p - since upgrading I don't miss it at all.

Which keyboard is that?

What do you do for window management and tiling?

Kogan Tenkeyless Brown with the plastic shell removed - apparently it's a common base that a lot of manufacturers use. Got it for $80 which is a steal here in upside-down-land.

I'm sure many Sup Forumsentoomen are ultra wide

No i'm just too lazy to take a picture.

just google Dell U3415W for link

it's a USB hub / kvm switch for two computers, afaik you can configure which USB input goes along with which input.

there's also DP passthrough, I haven't tested it yet (hoping on hooking up a second 2560x1440 vertically right next to it some time)

Waiting for these to come out

nice

What I really like about ultrawide 1440 is that it's MUCH easier to drive than 4K. I haven't had the chance to use a 4K monitor for extended periods but you would have a hard time getting me away from the 21:9 aspect. It's like having dual 1:1 screens when you need it to be and a beautiful super wide screen for your media and games.

yes

god damn... I only had this thing for half a year now.

my nigga

4k is just oversharpened images.

21:9 is glorious extra viewing angle.
