>the issue is apparent with gsync displays with refresh rates at or above 144hz. though there are a few posts from users with 60hz displays and non gsync displays.

What the actual Fuck is Nvidia doing? Are they trying to undermine user trust? Fuck. At least they're not frying GPUs anymore.

>new card has slight problems with 0.0000001% of displays. Hey, I hear it doesn't have UHF out. Is it true it's not plug and play with my black and white TV?
Jose Bennett

>Any update Nvidia? I mean I've been trying to recreate the issue but it's random... though it does seem like it occurs when applications are opened and updates occur.. I've had it happen while updating geforce experience and while updating windows software... sometimes while Internet Explorer is opened but it's extremely random
>I also get the screen flicker when windows first loads, scrolling while surfing google chrome, and sometimes the occasional flicker in games. Tried every fix here and what works for me is switching 144hz to any other refresh rate and then switching it back to 144hz.
>Hopefully Nvidia Fixes this soon or I am going to RMA my 1070 and wait to see if this gets fixed before buying again. My 3 year old 690 doesnt even do this what gives...

The problem exists in every version of the drivers that support the 10 series.

It's a feature. Too much fps will strain your eye. Nvidia is trying to ruin the glasses market by helping your eye. Nvidia knows that glasses can stab you in the eye if you're not careful. They know you're not because you bought their product for over $100 above msrp.
