Arch on desktops, Debian on servers. Although if your hardware is new there is nor reason to run debian since the stable will not work.

No. apt-get install… WTF? That's like RIP in peace. Why the doubling of get and install? Totally triggered. dnf install or zypper in is much nicer. Also, zypper up makes me smile every time I type it, but fedora - ironically - seems more stable and polished than suse
