Tray Thread

Post your Windows/macOS/*Nix system trays

My computer is nearly as empty as my soul.

what's the command-q do ?

It's a program called Command Q. Puts a configurable delay between pressing cmd+q and killing the program so you don't fuck up and kill an application when you meant to hit cmd+tab or cmd+w

utorrent seriously ?

>system botnet

Yes.

Negro men.

Unity master race

:(

meh

Or you know, you can make it so the windows' states are remembered when quitting an app, in system preferences.

What if, you know, I don't like having that feature enabled?

Running beta software like a baws.

Are your fingers seriously that sausage-like that this is a problem for you?

FBPanel is fucking god tier

>sausage-like
Quite the opposite. I'm underweight, so basically everything is thinner than it probably should be. Doesn't mean a mistake doesn't happen here and there.

As simple as it needs to be, not more complex.

Why are you still using TrueCrypt? It's dead and has lots of CVEs

Install Veracrypt. It's literally TrueCrypt but better and can open your TC volumes

Because Veracrypt is a shitty fork by a shitskin. Veracrypt has fucked up the header of one of my hard disks which has never happened once with TrueCrypt. TrueCrypt is absolutely sufficient for me. I'm not a Terrorist.

What's the point of systray icons when you can't see them?

xfce4-panel ftw

Some are rarely used and only provide useful information/functionality on-click, so I find it cleaner to hide them in a "second systray".

Apfelschwuchtel

Is Flux worth using? I've heard some good and bad things, someone said it BSoD'd his laptop.

From left to right:
Battle.net, Nvidia shit I don't use, Realtek shit I don't use, ShareX, NetWorx, qBittorrent, uTorrent, Windows shit.

>> 2016
>> use anything but common sense

How about just hide them from systray?

Some simple stuff,i don't tend to keep a shitton of crap in there.

>qBittorrent, uTorrent,
Wat

I didn't know that twitch has an desktop app until today.

There are a handful of files I need to seed on multiple private trackers, and the torrents use the same piece size, preventing me from loading the torrent into my main client (uTorrent). uTorrent contains the bulk of my torrents (>95%). However now that you mention it, I should probably switch to Transmission now that it has a native Windows client.

>Livestreamer Twitch GUI
This is not an official Twitch app...

in order:
>ClipMenu, clipboard history utility
>FreeMemory, automatic ram clearing (pos)
>MenuMeter CPU info
>Rest, for enforcing frequent breaks (rsi a bitch)
>MagicPrefs, better mouse/trackpad configuration/gestures/etc
>Karabiner, custom key bindings
>TVShows, for watching RSS feeds for torrents
>PlayBack, media server
>gfxCardStatus, for enforcing use of dedicated or integrated graphics

Some applications, for some reason, don't have that option built in. Also, the second tray is hidden by default.

thank you

If your not a terrorist why encrypt your hard drives?
It's like people who buy PIA for """privacy"""", even though it's a US based service.

You should check out AVG's updated TOS bro

Phones are allowed too?

Bartender is great for keeping things clean.

Can't live without it.

it's retarded, just set your brightness to low

my tray is clogged with proprietary software.

Dominos > Bartender

I bet you use Discord too, fgt.

Dominos?

This is my gaymen system, my MacBook has just about nothing in the TaskBar.

Sorry bro... Experimenting with edge. Testing these ludicrous battery claims. iPhone just works, Dropbox just works
