Probably not. But how did they get it in?

for what purpose?

I'm not sure if the case is glued together or if I should buy a different one.

To extract the on-board firmware and put it back together.

for what purpose?

Not op.

If you were to get a chink internal USB to USB A adapter and put it inside your case how would the reception be?

Not him, but why the fuck not?

because you'll destroy the device

Why?

How would it get destroyed?

>on a technology board
>asks the purpose of tinkering with technology

do it and find out

It looks like a unibody case. You won't be able to open it.

Interesting. Does that mean the case needs to be cut to access the PCB inside?

I suppose I could just cut with a Dremel and superglue it back together.

not sure with that particular device, but sometimes yes, accessing some devices means breaking the case

So is it then a general rule of thumb that if I can't clearly see a separation between the front and back of the case then I'll need to break it? Are there any other characteristics I need to look for before buying the device?

can i ask why you need to disassemble one? if it's to add an antenna, you can buy ones with antenna ports already accessible

Just thought I could extract the firmware using JTAG and inspect it using IDA Pro to see if there's anything interesting.

He's already stated why he wants the lids off you dense cunt, fuck off.

its not good to open pen drive because static electric can damage it

What do you think about this one? It looks like it's just held together with clips, right?

I'm trying to get into JTAGing phone firmwares. Can you give a pointer to what tool I should buy for that?
There seems to be a lot of gaymer bullshit

The JTAGulator by Joe Grand is a great tool to identify JTAG ports. As for the actual JTAG device, there are many available for cheap on Ali Express.

possibly, a seam doesn't always mean it uses clips, but if it's got a gap then it probably does
