I use integrated on my laptop.

My desktop doesn't have an iGPU however so I need to use a dGPU there.

What processor? i5 with HD 3000 here.

Core i8 6666tk

Taken with a core i5-6500. Nvidia and AMD on suicide watch.

i5 2420m and i7 5820k.

Wat? I didn't think there was such a thing as an i8. I can't tell if you're trolling kek

oh, nice.

this looks pretty good, are you on medium graphics?

Nice graphics bro!
Enjoy your one frame per second!

Textures were on medium, everything else was on low, render scale was at 50% so everything that isn't the UI is rendered at 960x540.

wow, nice.

Have fun getting 10 fps on fuckin tetris you fags

the point of an integrated gpu for games is cost-effectiveness mate. games won't look as nice, but they'll run relatively well and for a much better price than a dGPU

wat

wrong

t. some fag that spent $200 on an rx 480 and doesn't have money for food this month

Then explain why I can run Arkham Knight at 60fps on low visual settings? Looks meh, but runs well and for less than one of those weirdass nvidia or amd cards. i dont care about graphics enough to spend an extra $100+ on a dGPU.

what're your specs? I've been considering getting overwatch but I'm not sure. I have 8gb ram, dual core i5 2410m (2nd gen, 205mhz).

thanks for the laughs

I don't even understand your trolling. I like a good shitpost, but you're not even making slight sense.

i5 6500, 8gb ddr4 ram, 250gb SSD

hm, then I might be able to run it. thanks.

16GB HD 530 here.

Will be upgrading to the 32GB model soon, the RAM is on the way.

Who Intel G41 Express Chipset here

I'm gonna OC my 6600k iGPU, prepare to shit bricks.

Nice, how many GB does that HD 530 have?

16

980ti here
suck my dick faggots

You can play Dark Souls 3 on an overclocked (1.7GHz) HD4400/4600: youtube.com/watch?v=gHTK9Poky4U

Do the new skylake iGPUs even overclock as much as the haswell ones?

>TFW YOU FELL FOR DEDICATED GRAPHICS CARD MEME

Does an APU count?

Hell fucking yes, get your ass in here right now.

ya boy is running an AMD A10 7850K with 16GB 2400MHz RAM, runs most of my games at a normal resolution, CPU clocked at 4.1GHz and GPU clock at 900MHz, for some reason it's the limit of the BIOS?

/thread

Nice, your GPU is too intense and beastly for the motherboards VRMs.

I also have corsera liquid cooling on it and big-ass case to make it cool!

Yeah I suspected as much, I'm somewhat glad I went for an APU build as when I plan to upgrade I can put it all in a smaller case and run it with the stock cooler as a neat little Linux box.

How's the Asus version of the HD 530? I almost got one, but ended up with a Gigabyte one instead.

Would the graphics on this (ark.intel.com/products/87356) be better than a Gt430?

A10-7870K.

It's like the rest of you aren't trying.

It's fine, no lags whatsoever. I will upgrade to dGPU soo tho

Just as good as my 7850k.

also, does using integrated graphics cause a CPU to get any hotter?

That pentium Sup Forums on a stock cooler idles at 36c and maxes out at 50c, but i dont want it to get any hotter

>tfw playing GTA V at 40 fps in 1600x900

Skylake MasterRace IGP

Thanks based Intel!

I can't wait for Cannon Lake to see if they've improved the iGPU a lot. Do you think Intel would ever try to compete with AMD's APUs?

The only things Intel has been working on the past several years is a better iGPU and power efficiency.

How does CS:GO run on it?

Not him, but you can get 60fps at 1080p with it.

A10-7800.

Best lanbox ever.

That's really not bad.

I don't have it installed right now, but i remember it was like 60~70 fps in 1080p with every filter off.

>iphone res upscaled to 2x
>no AA at all

I'm impressed.

30% GPU load just by playing back a 720p video with hardware decoding.

I know it's integrated and you can't ask much, but can't it AA? If it can't AA to a minimum standard it's shit to be honest.

>inb4 it's cheap and it works

You might as well use a Raspberry Pi as a computer and it would work for most stuff, it doesn't mean it's acceptable to live like that.

>those jaggies
I'm putting you on suicide watch. First step is taking away anything sharp so stop playing games without AA.

I know. I've since upgraded to a discrete GPU since then, I just built my computer first while waiting for the current generation of GPUs to come out.

The HD530 found on Skylake is pretty good.

Asking for an IGP to do AA is retarded.

Earlier GMAs, even the first HD graphics versions, do not support AA at all
Some generations ago intel added it

average 30fps

Nice.

Looks pewp.

>tfw Intel GMA X3100
At least I have Quake.

I once built an A10 APU pc for my dad
Worst decision of my life, everytime he downloaded malware off some Russian porn site I was to blame

Got a Celeron 1007u with HD 2500 graphics here.

It's pretty impressive for the fact that I'm using a $200 Chromebook with Windows slapped on it, but I wish I shelled out a bit more to get something better.

How good/bad is the Iris Pro found in current-gen Thinkpads? I don't care about games but being able to play Civ 5 on the go would be nice.

You should punch him in the dick. Repeatedly.

Its weird how i can max out skyrim at 600x800 running on nothing but a notebook processor when I remember I had to buy a new PC only for that at the time.

The new integrated solutions are rather good for some light gaming.

What case?

Better than a PS3 at least

Anyone else running a core i3-2350m?

I want to upgrade and I'm thinking an apu build, I just want more frames in osu with all textures and shit turned on.

>tfw can't play with background video because lag

That's true, but these advancements usually come out years after games like that come out.

Now if there was something that could max out a current-gen game as soon as it came out, that'd be absolutely revolutionary.

APU build should be fine for that.

>16GB HD 530 here.
>Will be upgrading to the 32GB model soon, the RAM is on the way.
wut

I think I'll use an A8-7600, because I'm el pooro, is that a good option?

youtu.be/0ry2GGaWifc
>inb4 it's Linus Shill Tips
It uses an Iris Pro GPU and is useful for the benchmarks in the video. The Iris Pros can run modern games at low settings 30fps. I'm sure a less demanding game like Civ 5 would easily be able to run on it.

notebookcheck.net/Intel-Iris-Pro-Graphics-580.160664.0.html
But it really depends on the exact CPU model

my t430 can play civ 5 just fine

>being this dense

You should easily be able to play a simple 2D game like Osu. techreport.com/blog/25930/a-subjective-look-at-the-a8-7600-gaming-performance

Thanks famalan, joining the APU race soon

>that graphics resolution scaling
might as well just kill yourself

Is there a convenient chart benchmarking APU/Intel performance?

What game?

Who /dank inside/ here?

These Intel® HD 530 Graphics™ are dank af.

>inb4 Intel® shill
>inb4 good goyim

San andreas multiplayer

> only the most well funded games with high optimization can be ran on integrated

What is /IG/'s opinion on APUs

based.

Performs worse than a comparable intel CPU and GPU

But for half the price.

This statement is subjectively wrong.

I have the system pic related and i must confess that I have absolutely no clue to how to use the iGPU

They have a lot of potential. It'd be cool to be able to play games on medium/low settings on something like a Surface, and then when you're at home you can dock it with an eGPU to get a performance boost because dx12 can use multiple GPUs. But it'll be a few years before that's doable.

bump

A10 7700k, 2400mhz ram, easily overclocked to 966-1024 with a decent cooler.

can play gta V at a decent mixed settings at 1080p,most mid, bring it to 720p and you can run it mostly mid-high, but some gpu intensive settings have to be turned way down. 45fps avg? 2GB vram doesn't give a lot these days though. definitely a "value" oriented line up and it really gets you entry grade gaming on the cheap.

Getting dem intel 530 hd graphics in few weeks. What am i in for?

Connect monitor to the motherboard, not the graphics card.

Is G4500 (HD430) okay for 4k@60hz? No games, just shitposting machine. Which mobo should i buy?
Most of them support only hdmi 1.4. Which is too old.
>1 x HDMI port, supporting a maximum resolution of 4096x2160@24 Hz
