>he pronounces GUI as "gooey"
He pronounces GUI as "gooey"
Damn man. I thought you Ganoo.
>he pronounces GUI as "gi uh ay"
Pronounced Guh-Wee
There are just two ways, no?
gooey / G.U.I
He pronounces gif with a hard g despite the creators wishes
>jraphics interchange format
>People actually pronounce acroynms and file extensions as if they were words
Just spell it out. Gee Eye Eff. Gee You Eye. That way you dont sound like a retard saying words like "jif" and "gooey"
creator announcment on how to say it trumps your grammar argument
Ya because saying gof with a hars g totallly doesnt sound like slang for stabbing someone
nasty
mercians in charge of english
>hurr we named it afder peenut budder, wheres mah BUROLIGER
Like it or not thats how its pronounced
How so you pronounce RAM?
>Ar ey emm ?
deditated wam
should i call it jewey?
>HAHAHA DID U SEE THAT LATEST REDDIT JIFFS?
>OMFG I LOVE THE NEW GEE YOU EYE ON MY IPHONE
Literal retards
jayfeg
No gui is with a hard g
>englishmen
but you said GIF is soft g even though the g in both acronyms stands for graphic(ial)/(s)
?? ??
Because the creator of the gif format named it that way
he is wrong then, and the sheep who follow him are wrong
i win :^)
I'm sticking with "gooey". It's more similar to how I'd say it in my native language, even though I use a hard g in gif which wouldn't be in my native language. however, when I'm speaking English, I don't know how to nsay that so I spell it, while I say gheef for gif.
Hey, did you know that in the real world people don't give a shit?
The creator of it named it that as a play on "Choosy moms choose Jif" (peanut butter) as "Choosy developers choose GIF".
Well choosy developers don't choose GIF because it's fucking awful, so that argument is dumb.
>Gee you eye
yeah nah
Do you know how those syllables you typed are pronounced? Cause I don't think you do.
