Verizon "happening" part 2 LEAKED

>> no unlimited data
>> charging more + roll over
>> what the actual fuck

Source: Image leaked on HoFo

Well I'm sure this will blow many customers minds.

Just curious where the shill is from the other thread.

LMFAO, I'm paying $55 for unlimited high speed LTE at 8-16 Mbps with Boost Mobile and use 100+ GB of data each month.

>Verizon in 2016

carryover would be interesting since verizon straight up said they didnt care about trying to match other providers like 6 months ago.

i pay $70 total a month after taxes and shit for 3gigs and the usual unlimited calls and text, i dont give a shit 1 extra gig i would rather just keep that $5

>unlimited high speed LTE at 8-16 Mbps with Boost Mobile
That's terrible bandwidth and Boost has no fucking coverage.

>Happening

Is there unlimited data and contracts for the rest of the country? Here in Pennsylvania we've already started all of this shit over a year ago.

We haven't had unlimited data in god damn a decade dude. We've had increased data prices for 2-3 years minimum.

However we don't have roll over.

T. Verizon customer for last 16 years

>That's terrible bandwidth
Literally how? Those speeds are achieved even AFTER I've used over 100GB of data. How much do you think Verizon would charge for using just 100GB of data? $400? $800? lmao

>Boost has no fucking coverage.
Not all of us live in farms.

why are you so fucking dumb dude

I pay $60 a month for unlimited LTE. You're getting ripped off senpai

>Literally how?
16Mbps is HSPA tier. That's how. Doesn't matter how much data you have used and I'm not talking about Verizon, either.
>Not all of us live in farms.
That's cute, but no, I live in Los Angeles and, previously, in the NYC metro area. Sprint's coverage, especially indoors, was fucking garbage.

>Sprint's coverage, especially indoors, was fucking garbage.

Very true.

All you fags on Tmobile and Sprint have no idea how bad you have it.

Switch to AT&T (they also have cheap prepaid plans) and the difference is HUGE

Does AT&T offer an unlimited plan?

>muh free market
>muh freedom
>muhrica
kek'd

>no unlimited data
Into the trash it goes.

lmao nope and they have one of the worst LTE networks around. Expect constant network outages and sudden drops to dial-up speeds.

Boost Mobile and MetroPCS exists you know.

This. Sad to see Verizon go mad with greed, they seemed like pretty cool guys at first.

No unless you have DirecTV or U-Verse - you do get free tethering on their limited plans though.

Really? That's lame.
No thanks.

You're a moron, they have one of the best networks, they are basically matched with Verizon.

Aren't they limited to 8Mbps? Last I heard AT&T had to set that bandwidth limit because too many customers were complaining about LTE not working at all.

Verizon LTE goes up to like 50Mbps so 8Mbps seems really really fucking slow in comparison.

Not supporting either company by the way, unlimited high speed LTE for at least $60/month without contract or family plans or GTFO.

FUCKING DELETE THIS RIGHT NOW

>unlimited high speed LTE for at least $60/month without contract or family plans or GTFO.
Who offers this with a network even half as good as Verizon?

No one. Typical asspie thinking everything should be fast, free, and offered to him on a silver platter.

MetroPCS or Boost Mobile. Maybe they don't give you unlimited high speed data at 1TB/s but at least you can use as much as you want and very decent speeds where even 1080p youtube will never have to buffer for example.

I wonder if the rollover data will work like it does with AT&T where it only rolls over for one month and the you lose it

Yes they do have unlimited data... I have it right now you just have to own directTV

>MetroPCS or Boost Mobile.
Nah. Back to square one. Shit coverage and low LTE bandwidth.

This.

You should all be grateful verizon is even giving you the option to use 24GB of data for a super low introductory price of just $110 a month. Can you believe how ungrateful these fucks are?

The plan I use is unlimited txt, unlimited calls, 3gb of data then it throttles

$45/month

AT&T signal strength is top tier

>>unlimited high speed LTE for at least $60/month without contract or family plans

what is your problem with family plans
do you not even have 1-3 friends?

>fags using their phone like a computer

Why do people do this?

>I pay $60 a month for unlimited LTE
With who?

I know right?

Entitled little shit knows nothing.

>I have it right now you just have to own directTV
But y tho

What are you talking about? I think replied to the wrong person.

Because its a computer :^)

Because AT&T got in bed with them and force you to bundle your cable services to get the really good deals.

They give you cheaper cellular service by shaking hands with the devil and recooping their losses in DirectTV shekels.

It's a shitty slow computer with a tiny screen and horrible interface.

Do you people not have desktops?

You arent reading this right
Those are for the Data Plans

You pay 40$ a month for your phone. Then you pay 15$ a month for insurance
THEN you buy a data plan, which would be an extra 110$ a month.
Then add in hidden fees and taxes.

I was on my parents verizon plan until a few months ago. Its just so not worth it.

Verizon is so shit.

All of those are opinions. It's still a computer and have programs made specifically to run on them.

Given the nature of wireless communications and how video streaming is becoming more prevalent, this really isn't a surprise.

>40$ a month for your phone.
>40$
That is literally untrue. We lowered the line access to $20 to facilitate device payment. Even if you do not upgrade or bring your own device. You still get line access of $20 on the new plans.

$11 a month for Asurian not $15

Look if you are going to shill at least use the correct numbers.

How far up Verizon's corporate ass are you?

imagine being on a submqrine made out of marmelade dreams floating on a popsickle that used to be an iceical landing on a meadow filled with candy tarts a place of dreams no buddy farts

the verizon store is that place

Metropcs offers unlimited high speed LTE for $60/month but phones are expensive as fuck. Boost offers unlimited high speed LTE for $55/month and has cheap as dirt phones like the Warp Elite BUT has questionable coverage especially outside of major cities.

Well I work for them 5 days a week 9 1/2 hours a day so I would say balls user.

I am balls deep.

To clarify I am a Solution Specialist.

lol "We" so you pay for data + phone line "access"? what the fuck is this shit. What phone trying to go on your network wouldn't need access. Make fun of T-Mo all you want 2 lines Unlimited everything for $100. No extra bullshit just straight up 100 bucks each month.

>safety mode is what ever other carrier does for free
>its marketed as a service

Boy i want to be on verizon so much less now than before its almost amazing

Keep gouging

Fake leaks are more believable when they look rushed.

I believe this one though Verizon's fucked enough to call this a happening.

>> Solution Specialist
>> says it loud and proud

What solutions could you possibly specialize in?

How many GB of high speed lte?

I was told maybe 2-3 weeks ago that if I bring my own phone, its going to be 40$ a month.

I was dumbfounded because my sister brought her own phone and it was a 15$ a month.

But I wouldnt be surprised if its changed already. The amount of hidden fees and changes you guys do monthly is fucking horrendous.

How can you justify removing early edge upgrades, and increasing assurion deductibles to 200$?

Im so fucking glad I left

>Data plan of 6GB for $60
>each device attached to plan is $20
>6GB plan of high speed LTE for 2 devices with room for 8 more

There isn't bullshit. If having snail slow speeds of unlimited data is so amazing then stick with the dying bleating pig that is T-mobile.

I think you missed the part where I said unlimited. I would get "prioritized" at like 24-25gb but that never happens, at least in my area.

>using a carrier that only works on one network
>using a carrier that doesn't pay you back for unused data
>not using a carrier that uses Sprint, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular networks
>not using Project Fi

better be looking for another job after this self destructive klusterfuk

Can I use my iPhone with Project Fi?

Why would I trust Google?

I am not going to lie. We are all very apprehensive of "safe mode". The entire roll over thing actually is looking like one grand fuck up waiting to happen as people now have to understand how roll over data works or throttling. These are the people coming in saying they cannot get calls and their airplane mode is on.

Get a better phone.

Let me guess
You removed the 20$ credit you would give to people on the edge program didnt you?

$40 for contract phones

$20 for everyone else on the new Verizon plans

$15 or $25 on the old More Everything plans depending if it was 6GBs or more

No you idiot project fi is the worst of the lot pay as you go is cancer unlimited data for a flat fee or nothing this is what we should be pushing for

>

>There isn't bullshit. If having snail slow speeds of unlimited data is so amazing then stick with the dying bleating pig that is T-mo

"Snail speeds "

No, I like what I have.

its real class act charging people money so they can save money by not going over on their data allowance.

:^) Verizon enjoy less.

>Unlimited data on service that doesn't work everywhere you go

Okay wow how useful and great

Huh? I have grandfathered UDP, so they're actively going to take it away from everyone at some point? Is there a solid date when?

they've been offering me this "unified" plan for a while though, trying to get me off unlimited, like I'm some goddam retard. Well, at least my shit-tier DSL isn't cancerous anymore, it used to re-sync 50 times a day sometimes.

>"toe the company line", the thread

verizon shill getting rekt

Project fi is LITERALLY the worst mobile carrier that can possibly exist. They charge $10/GB on top of a flat $20 monthly fee. Using just 6GB of data would cost you $80/month and 100GB would cost you over 9000.

Lel Canada has been dealing with data caps for almost ten years, it's fucking out of hand.

So prohe t fi doeznt even work eveeywhere? WhT kind of a crack head would pay for that AT ALL? That is government ran freebie service tier

Thats still slightly cheaper than verizon

My bill is like 20-30 a month. How poor are you?

Verizon has been one of the worst priced providers for a very long time.

fucking

rotate

your pics

pleeeeeeaaaase

Again, like I mentioned earlier the nature of wireless com is it is a limited resourced.

Each tower might only have X amount of bandwidth to share between everyone connected to that tower.

While I agree in Canada we get fucking gouged for phone plans, i do understand why data caps exists.

Actually another thing that makes me say fuck verizon is the fact i would have to get a new phone since my gsm unlocked note 5 wont work on it at all i would be starting back at square 1

Go back to bed grandpa. Some of use this thing called the "internet" to watch tiddies and youtube.

They charge a premium because their service works everywhere. Until the other carrier start investing more in their fucking hardware, Verizon remains king.

You'll stay pay for it. There's no reason they wouldn't charge more.

Saying it over and over, and then throwing it in commercials doesnt make it true.

The fact that almost every american has a cell phone means infrastructure isnt the same as it was 15 years ago.

ยข .005 has been deposited

No seriously am I going to lose my unlimited data plan if I don't change anything myself?

This is actually one of the most level headed posts I've seen.

I know Verizon is high priced. I know we are not the best option for every single customer. I know you can get away with a fraction of the bill and get good service in your very specific area. I know we could lower prices and I could personally recommend people to go online to buy cases and speakers for pennies on the dollar.

Point is that takes a lot of know how and effort and extra energy. People will pay a premium for "the best" even if they don't need it. Fact remains we are funneling all our extra dosh into enhancing our network while everyone else is still playing catch up years behind. That is why Verizon will remain top dog.

Wireless data caps shouldn't exist AT ALL. Fact is mobile carriers can easily output over 100 Mbps on each LTE tower they have 24/7 with 0 problems. The problem is QoS when there us high network load. Companies like Sprint and T-mobile have improved their QoS algorithms enough to the point where everyone can get unlimited high speed lte @ ~8-16 thus pretty much confirming wireless data caps are a huge fucking meme.

Leave the city, come to my area. I'm in fucking southern california and only Verizon has adequate coverage in this area. Tmo still has zero building penetration, ATT does not work more than 10 miles from their NOC, Sprint has absolutely no signal here. This is a town of 20k.

>Switch to AT&T (they also have cheap prepaid plans) and the difference is HUGE

I actually DID switch to AT&T
I pay slightly over 50$ a month out the door for 3gbs of data.
Brought my own phone, no contract

I have seen 0 degradation of signal, my speeds are still fast.

>and I live in the center of the midwest with the biggest city only having 100k people

No you are safe. You can actually upgrade and keep it now.

>Wireless data caps shouldn't exist AT ALL

Fucking commie.

This. OP is a faggot and Verizon dumped unlimited data plans several years ago.

well considering sprint and verizon share eachothers towers I know this is a lie.

Are electric and water bills a meme too? You use more, you pay for more.

MUH ENTITLEMENT

Because it costs money to generate electricity and it costs money to treat water there is no cost in data

this is a complete tinfoil fabrication that was created on Sup Forums. go away.

It also exempts you from data caps on your internet service.

right which is why we should pay them $40 for something that costs them at max 2 cents to generate right?
