Firefox >Slowly turning into a chink's Chrome >Borderline botnet
Chrome >Muh botnet >Most used browser
IE & Edge >Not using Windows >Muh botnet
Midori >Too fucking simplistic >Feels slow
Opera >Chrome ripoff >Maybe botnet
Maxthon >Nope
So I've resorted to Pale Moon. So far it feels about as fast as Firefox and the addons I use work and the lack of Australis is fucking amazing. I will immediately switch to another browser if Sup Forums can recommend one better.
Pale Moon is best for now, but they need to hurry up with that other browser because less and less shit is supporting PM.
Joseph Rogers
SeaMonkey
Julian Ross
no trolling, please
Liam Diaz
What makes you think I am?
Gavin Richardson
SeaMonkey
Brayden Watson
Ever since Opera died it's been the best browser.
Blake Adams
Firefox >Slowly turning into a chink's Chrome >Borderline botnet
>suggests same shit with extra bloat It still has Mozilla's hand in it
Levi Sanchez
SeaMonkey's Firefox without the RAM issue. It may have more "bloat" but it consumes less memory. So which exactly is more bloated? Firefox.
Dylan Barnes
>Pale Moon I actually started using palemoon as day to day browser because chromium/chrome has a lot of problems with dom-relevant javascript on my machine. Clicking into a thumbnail on facebook takes like 10 seconds to load the image, meanwhile it's adhoc on pale moon.
Jonathan Wilson
If you don't mind closed source then give vivaldi a try. It's super customizable.
Jayden Russell
Using a browser maintained by one furry.
Kevin Hall
>facebook Out
Angel James
It doesn't matter what it is user. Literally every web service built upon reactjs/angular/likes is fucked.
Noah Rogers
Everything is or will be consumed by the botnet.
Nolan Garcia
If you actually read the project website, you would know it isn't just Moonchild. And if one developer is a furry, I'm willing to accept that.
Ayden Harris
Firefox is still the best as you can disable the botnet with some tweaks.
Seamonkey is garbage and always has been. Even Debian abandoned their iceape clone nearly 3 years ago - that's saying something.
Pretty much this. Bob and weave until then.
Hudson Morales
And this is so popular, people don't realise it. I am a software dev, we develop solutions for aviations. At least 2 people just in my team are furry. Sonic fanarts everywhere, plushies, also ponies. What can you do. As long as you are fucking smart you can put your dick in whatever is legal and I don't care either.
Jeremiah Perez
>as fast as Firefox
Kek.
Angel Ross
fuck off
Ryan Richardson
Staph complaining and write your own browser faggot
Joseph Butler
i wish we could have nice things
Parker Watson
But he is right. Vivaldi already is better than FF and his shitty forks.
Alexander Gonzalez
It doesn't even have a chance at being better until it's not just a website running in Chromium
Colton Morris
>fall for the memes and download pale moon >can't install grease monkey >uninstall I'll just keep using waterfox.
Nicholas Anderson
You can though.
Adrian Price
Janusz programowania.
Justin Mitchell
>have to jump through hoops No thank you.
Gabriel Campbell
What are you even talking about? It works just fine.
Cameron Allen
you should give waterfox a go. it blends the best aspects of vanilla firefox wit the best ones from palemoon. >waterfoxc is basically how firefox should be
Benjamin Ward
...
Justin Rivera
That would be fine if the RAM issues were why people avoided it.
Doesn't matter if all of them are horse fuckers. If that shit isn't being pushed into the browser itself, then it does't matter. Hating on them for being furry while whining about Moz firing that dude is fucking hypocritical.
>have to jump through hoops >nuh-uh, here jump through this hoop!
Lincoln Lee
How is it jumping through hoops?
Bentley Johnson
As far as I'm aware the RAM issue is Firefox's only issue. Why do people avoid it user?
James Jackson
I'm not a sick pervert. I do not like degenerate weirdos. >hypocrisy Look its an ancient fork of a mediocre browser maintained by a furry and apparently a handful of other people. Only a few extensions even work on it and it is likely to have lots of vulnerabilities. Do people hate Australis that much?
Nicholas Powell
This, the modern theme is comfy too.
Joseph Cruz
The Australis UI is literally a shittier version of Chrome's UI.
Isaiah Foster
Do you hate it so much you would rather use palememe? Are people unwilling to use a browser that does not have the same ui as netscape?
Benjamin Flores
It's hypocrisy because disagreeing with their politics has no effect on the quality of their product.
John Wright
Reminder to sage and hide pale meme threads.
Andrew Parker
If palemoon is a meme browser then what should I use instead?
Jose Thomas
SeaMonkey
Anthony Gomez
What rock have you been living under for the past several years?
Elijah King
None, I just pay much attention to things I don't use.
Andrew Cook
waterfoxproject.org >No Adobe DRM >No Pocket >No data collection >Run every 64-Bit plugin >Run unsigned addons
>firefox it's palemoon, and no lags here friendo :^)
Eli Lewis
So why are you telling me to use it when you don't even use it yourself.
I took me 2 days to get used to australis. Now I don't care anymore.
Adrian Evans
>now i don't care anymore well, that's why you're a faggot :^)
Lucas Murphy
...
Alexander King
Safari is trash
Easton Evans
>using a mac
Isaac Ortiz
well, if you know anything about web development you know that you're gonna need different browsers for different web applications. there is no one size fits all here, sadly.
Levi Torres
wrong >caring is for overemotional preteen faggots
Asher Phillips
i don't have a mac
Jaxon Hall
well, you didn't care your whole life, now you post on Sup Forums :^)
Isaac Moore
>thinking there's anything wrong with that
Jose Jones
>pretending that the whole operating system isn't like itunes yeah itunes is great
Nicholas Edwards
>pretending that you have any idea what you're talking about Yeah user you sure are smart
William Murphy
Does netflix run on this?
My one huge beef with PM is that I can't watch netflix on it.
Jaxon Jones
Why would you want to?
Dylan Edwards
well it's a hybrid kernel lacking gcc and with a whole bunch of unity-like bullshit. sound fair?
Caleb Richardson
Because I have netflix and want to watch shows on it.
Kayden Gutierrez
...
Gabriel Carter
I've never met anyone with a mac that knows anything besides HTML CSS javascript python
Jace White
I know Fortran 77 and am currently learning MIPS assembly.
Samuel Cox
You bought a brand, stop trying to explain it away
Evan Lewis
i know ruby!
Lucas Barnes
>Fortran >Relevancy >Monads
Cooper Johnson
I used to be a Linux user full of blind hatred like yourself. Then I bought an iMac G3 at a rummage sale and gave OS X a shot. Turned out it was pretty good, so I started buying Macs. It has absolutely nothing to do with any brand.
Jeremiah Wilson
>most used browser
How is this a complaint, you little cuck.
Jonathan Young
>Midori >>Too fucking simplistic >>Feels slow first point is fine but it's not slow, it's the only browser the pine a64 can run
Grayson Hughes
First of all a botnet is a group of machines used to launch DDOS attaches secondly it doesn't matter what you do current PC hardware has built in back doors anyone cane use.
Logan Reed
>pointless greentext
Jacob Gutierrez
So you rarely used a mac before that? You really think homebrew compares to any real package manager?
Xavier Hill
that's why i choose waterfox to replace palemoon. it works with drm, unlike pm
Leo Williams
>So you rarely used a mac before that? There was one time I've used a Mac before that >Homebrew It works. I don't like how it's github based but at the end of the day it gets the job done. Personally I just use pkgsrc.
Bentley Wood
Actually I've been using mac computers since 1996. They have always been focused on user friendliness. Get a keyboard.
Dominic Peterson
cant believe I'm going to admit this.... I actually LIKE MS Edge
Robert Wilson
normie appeal is generally a bad sign
see: windows
Brandon Brown
>Get a keyboard What?
Ian Brown
Why do people mention how many people use it? It's not relevant.
James Gray
you're paying for a clunky GUI and an apple shaped LED
Ryan Roberts
What in the fuck are you on about?
Samuel Peterson
Hey guys. SRE at apple here. Can confirm that the only employees who use Safari regularly have to warned about disk usage. They are not fit to hold a mouse.
Brody Sullivan
Nigga my hardware is old enough to be backdoor free and run current shit.
Nolan White
The only thing a bigger userbase does is generate more support (addons, software) and faster bug finding, which are good things.
David Lopez
right, so Ubuntu doesnt give userinfo to NSA?
Liam Mitchell
All those things are settings and logging into chrome isn't obligatory.
Carter Scott
Not relevant, since Ubuntu already sucks otherwise and also not because of userbase.
Blake Martin
I watch netflix with PM just fine.
Lincoln Fisher
okay, so ISP's with large userbases are: A) More likely to be pressured by NSA to submit user activity B) You're an asshole
Evan Green
The devs keep taking out features because chrome doesn't have them and they don't realize that if people wanted a chrome clone they'd use fucking chrome. Not only that, but they're even adding features that make FF worse (stupid social bloatware, tracking shit, support for DRM after pledging not to, etc.)
