>most users support black lives matter and other social progress movements This is completely false
James Cooper
it's not reddit
Jaxon Cox
>social progress movements Your troll post became very obvious at this point.
Lucas Scott
Aside from The Donald and maybe Kotaku, that is true.
Chase Collins
reddit = gay sex Sup Forums = gay sex with hats /thread/
Daniel Howard
Sup Forums is anonymous and untamed fun. Reddit is normie bullshit.
Elijah Barnes
If you love reddit so much why don't you go right back there?
Lucas Davis
Normie bullshit that is being killed by rampant censorship.
That thing is doomed. So is Facebook and Google.
Henry Collins
Reddit and Sup Forums have the same userbase
Josiah Young
>reddit >digg
>Sup Forums >internet hate machine
fuck off newfag
Henry Flores
not the guy you were replying to
Reddit had one of THE BIGGEST recuitment communities for the alt right / nat soc. It was called Coontown, then renamed after it got shot down, then shut down completely.
There are literally hundreds of subreddits dedicated to making fun of feminism, men's rights, casual racism, everything you could wish for.
Reddit is a cesspool. Probably even worse than Sup Forums.
Jeremiah Richardson

Nope.

From what I've heard, is that most of reddit is very anti-sjw and are being redpilled well thanks to Sup Forums

Easton Stewart
There's some overlap, but I don't think so. reddit's userbase is fucking huge. If you believe Alexa, they say that reddit is ranked #9 and Sup Forums is ranked #373 in the US. If you take your average normie, chances are that they and most of their friends use reddit.
Alexander Gonzalez
>>written with python, the next generation of programming languages
I don't even care about the rest of that post, that's some top tier kekkery.
Ryder Anderson
You forgot that Reddit allows you to post from proxies (even TOR), while Sup Forums blocks proxies.
Ethan Lewis
Because... FUCK ALL NIGGERS GAS THE KIKES RACE WAR NOW HITLER DID NOTHING WRONG 卐 HEIL HITLER FUCK SPICS BUILD WALL I FUCKED MY DOG TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT
Now go to Reddit and write the same thing without getting banned. :^)

>thinking your forum isn't popular because it's written in the wrong language as long as the site is responding in a timely fashion it really doesn't matter. for 99.9999999% of websites, every language with more than 10k users is probably performant enough (as long as you're not making it do really computationally expensive shit for no good reason).

Owen Collins
Reddit is probably more Sup Forums than Sup Forums now. Especially with the subreddit culture that allows you to go in depth with the matter. Even subreddits completely unrelated to SJW/feminism/politics have a bunch of edgy racist white users/mods now.
Dominic Cox
Riley ?
Hudson Ramirez
Why do Sup Forumsacks call others redditors when they're the biggest redditors themsevles?
Bentley Powell
what?
reddit is more anti SJW than even Sup Forums now. shows to see how ridiculous their circlejerk hivemind is
Jose Jones
Which part don't you understand? They're more active on reddit than any other board. the_donald has 172,210 readers as of now.
Jayden Perry
oh, ok gotcha. so Sup Forums ruined reddit.
Luke Turner
>have to register an account to post
Mason Reyes
All I'm saying is they're huge fucking redditors so it's pretty hypocritical of them when they're the ones who tells others to go home to reddit the most. Can you stop putting words into my mouth?
Camden Brown
the_donald is literally Sup Forums so that doesn't make sense
Joseph Sullivan
reddit is alright for some specific stuff
Jose Stewart
>most users support black lives matter and other social progress movements No they don't
Parker Price
>the_donald is literally Sup Forums I know.
>so that doesn't make sense What? Are you just shitposting?
Sebastian Hall
I regularly go to /r/Android for smartphone news, and some subreddits about my local area or specific subjects
way better than Sup Forums for specific stuff
Jason Sanchez
Sup Forums =/= reddit
I'm not talking about an specific topic, but in general. Sup Forums(and other chans) feels different than other forums like reddit or any other that needs user identification.
if I need some expert to get information, probably Sup Forums isn't the best place to get it quick and that's not the point of the site imo. it doesn't mean it's just shitposting and misleading information around but since you're not a newfag you'll know where to get information and where to contribute to a thread or simply shitpost, as you wish.
Michael Robinson
>/r/Android That's not very specific at all mr reddit
Brayden Thompson
yeah, imagine a thread of that in here
>you androcucks!!! lmao more like lagdroid xDDDD
Nathan Gutierrez
way more specific than /spg/ and the general lack of smartphone threads in Sup Forums
James Price
Good for you. Maybe you should fuck off back to there then you fucking piece of shit. Reddit is so good yet you still come here. Fucking shit get the fuck out
Xavier Davis
>you androcucks!!! lmao more like lagdroid xDDDD you just reminded me of the circlejerk subreddits
Nathaniel Ortiz
yeah, that's just as bad
bouncing back from site to site is what I do
Bentley Jenkins
Sad news too, Sup Forums would have fapped to it back when it was written in lisp.
William Adams
ahem... >pic related
Adrian Wood
If you want specificity you should stay there. I'll admit I'm not stranger to reddit and /r/android and I know from first hand experience that that subreddit is fucking terrible. Full of 14 years olds jerking about material design and putting a massive amount of significance over trivial UI differences.
Elijah Green
you've clearly never been there
Luis Allen
>you've clearly never been there you've clearly never been there
Oliver Perez
If reddit is so great why don't you fuck off there?
Logan Nguyen
>you've clearly never been there you've clearly never been there
Ian Fisher
come on, it's rarely circlejerking about material design. the level of discussing smartphones is way better than Sup Forums too.
Jordan Bell
>Reddit >written with python, the next generation of programming languages Wow. >most users support black lives matter and other social progress movements This is a pro? BLM has regressed race relations by decades. >voting system allows uses to curate content, reducing the reliance on moderators So you only end up hearing the hive-mind's point of view, and anyone with a dissenting opinion is downvoted into oblivion.
>Sup Forums >only like 40 boards, so you have to wade through like 50 GPU and faggotsation threads a day just because it's technically "technology" Extreme overexaggeration, there's also a convienient "hide" feature. >most users are violently racist Go look at the alt right subreddits, and tell me that Sup Forums is more racist. You think anyone here is actually capable of an act of violence? >no voting system, which has allowed trolls and retards to run amok, and moderators don't do anything because they do it for free People can write whatever they please, and it won't be hidden if the majority disagrees. Reddit often becomes an echo chamber.

What do you define as circlejerk? For all I know MD is literally one of the most important factors in deciding whether they would use an app or not. They get extremely pissed about stupid shit like the facebook app not having a colored nav bar.
Carter Gomez
but they don't have /natsoc/ general
Benjamin Garcia
Not really into American politics but >Black Lives Matter Isn't that a terrorist group that killed like 10 cops or something? How is supporting them a plus?
Matthew Foster
Similar to how Sup Forums lost a lot of its original use base and became cancer, Reddit alienated a lot of users when they switched to python. I remember comp.lang.lisp was really fucking pissed when it happened.
Zachary Young
reddit should move to Go. they keep having these server errors, they servers seem really overloaded.
Henry Johnson
>2862x3972 why?
Kayden Howard

Jonathan Watson
Spotted the Redditor. Please go back to your own shithole
Lincoln Perry
Curated, low traffic subreddits are better than Sup Forums because it limits reddit's capability to fall into crowd logic.
The majority of Sup Forums is for children, honestly. Especially Sup Forums. There aren't any worthy conversations and you guys limit your discussions about linux to Desktop interfaces, lol.
Juan Brooks
I browse both (tech subreddits and subs that are connected to my interests, not the defaults), and reddit certainly gets shit done at times.
Hunter Russell
both Sup Forums and reddit*
Angel Sanchez
>>voting system allows uses to curate content, reducing the reliance on moderators more like buries all good content and encourages shit memes
don't forget that reddit actively removes content it disagrees with, despite not breaking site rules or US laws
Jonathan Flores
Lol
Anthony Brooks
Low traffic, hobby/knowledge driven subreddits usually deliver good content. Their wikis are fantastic for beginners. The exception is rainmeter. Almost of the rice they made generally looks the same.
High traffic subreddits are shit. Fucking cesspool of hivemind.
And of course, the circlejerk subreddits. Those containment subreddits are very good at limiting cancer to low traffic subreddits. On high traffic ones, not so much.
Sup Forums is fine. Specially /wg/. The problem is that some boards are too generalized. Sup Forums for example. It needs a /phone/ and /pc/ board split.
Matthew Green
The problem is that the users of Sup Forums are low educated angry NEETs. Nothing will change this.
Grayson Wilson
I just browse /r/INTP
Tyler Walker
This is generally my experience.
Reddit is better for genuinely discussing programming/math imo. I think it's the search feature/archived posts. The appeal of Sup Forums, is, of course, the fact that all discussions are ephemeral and temporary.
A lot of the frontpage is unfunny shit, though.
Jackson James
Did you really expect a Sup Forumsack to be able to follow a non-trivial flow of thought?
John Nguyen

Brayden Collins

John Evans
You've got a reddit addon to change the words to that cringe shit. Leave this site you fucking 12 year old.
Camden Hill
Fuck off muh internet kulcha fag
Charles Wood
Wrong.
Eli Scott
But Sup Forums has a better format, and you can't just censor people you disagree with by downvoting.
Xavier Thomas
>no voting system, which has allowed trolls and retards to run amok That's bullshit, the children run amok because there are no mods and voting system would only create a "trying to please others" culture that exists in pretty much every other social media.
Also reddit site layout is absolutely fucking horrible.
Reddit just got more people, and more of them are normal. Besides due the fully anonymous nature of 4chins, people tend to spam more retarded shit, which they wouldn't do in other places.
They will eventually get bored and fuck off back to r9k, v or pol, have some hope.
Austin Brown
I think the reason why reddit became alt right friendly recently is because sjwism became cool and hip too much to the point even Bill Gates is now a socialist so now the hive mind is now looking for a new edgy lifestyle to follow
Levi Turner
Then why is the text like that?
Nathaniel Reyes
>which they wouldn't do in other places. counterpoint: youtube
Andrew Flores
You can work around that by sorting comments by Controversial.
Ryder Barnes
i remember posting this: reddit: free and open source (FSF approved) doesn't sell your data r/programming is about programming r/technology is about technology voting system helps the community to hide idiots anyone can make a community Sup Forums: proprietary, closed source potentially sells your data trains google's AI via captchas or helps its map service /prog/ died a long time ago Sup Forums is about desktop screenshots or cartoon girls no voting system idiots everywhere
It's not like it hasn't happened before. Not sure if you're old enough remember but the whole straight edge movement was a counter culture to the hedonistic lifestyle of the early 2000's.
Jason Phillips
That's not a real work around. It means the sheep will still only see popular opinions.
