What does Sup Forums think of arm mounts?

Do you own one?

This pic reminds me greatly of the audiofag picture.

Looks like pure autism

would rather kms than use that retarded piece of autism

I would rather put my things on the desk since the desk is already there

This picture reminds me greatly of the VR porn demo

I use one because my desk isn't that big and isn't positioned against a wall. It gives me more arm space for a comfortable keyboarding stance and eliminates the possibility of pushing my monitor onto the floor.

The picture in the OP is retarded, though.

I use them at work and at home. keyboard arms and monitor arms at work, monitor arms only at home.

keyboard/mouse arms suck as dont ever buy one.

I use the monitors mounts so my left and right display can be moved out of the way to clear my desk for activities. I always wanted a desk where 3 displays, along with stereo bookshelf speakers and all the cords associated with them all mounted to the wall just above my desk height, so that I could just roll away the desk and use it as a large table, with my whole computer rig just hanging from the wall

I want to see it come to life and start beating the smile off of him. One hand a kb, other hand is an lcd. used like fist i bet they would fuck him up.

Maybe it could scream REEEEEEEEE as it did it..that would be great.

i think it would be more like a panini press

Just panini press his head till da smile becomes da frown..

(say it like Schwarzenegger)

Yes that will work.

Current setup. Arm mounts cost me $60 and allowed me to use an extra monitor and my laptop as another monitor.

It's very nice for touch panels.

I have an Ergotron for my 27 inch monitor because the stand it came with was absolute fucking shit. If the stand didn't cause the monitor to wobble like an unstable pensioner, I wouldn't have bothered with the Ergotron.

I have two, needed an upgrade for my 32 inch monitor

Wowwww my parents had those same couches. Maximum comfort. I loved taking the back cushions off and sinking into them

>dat comfy

This is what this things are for, i'd buy one but i fear not being able to leave my couch/bed.

>I always wanted a desk where 3 displays, along with stereo bookshelf speakers and all the cords associated with them all mounted to the wall just above my desk height, so that I could just roll away the desk and use it as a large table, with my whole computer rig just hanging from the wall

this sounds glorious.

It's a bad idea to put it in a bed setup, plus the couch isn't quite so comfy, a lazy boy is better but my wife wanted to be next to me

this is probably the most hipster setup i have ever seen. wow

What's the point of even having that desk???

I'm confused. What's hipster about this?

>that trackball thing

I guess... everything I got was for functional reasons, not "hipster" factor. I wanted more space on my desk and wanted a mouse I could use while my desk was cluttered. Same reason I got the arm mounts, I just wanted to maximize space on my desk, and removing my old mouse was part of that.

>thinkpad
>60% mechanical keyboard
>trackball

ThinkPad was for battery life and price:performance ratio, and the rest are to maximize space on my small desk. I don't care for shitty memes.

You mean a shoulder?

Got two. Work good.

looks so comfortable

the saved desk space is totally worth it
