where does Sup Forums find FLAC music?

torrent websites, but usually they're converted mp3's, so you gotta be vigilant. CD rips are a good start.

also mp3 320 and mp3 450 are not so bad.

Type this: "song you want" lossless

This senpai. Most flac on torrent sites are YouTube to mp3 converted to flac

>but usually they're converted mp3
What.CD retards

yes, because an invite only closed site is going to help the newcomers.

bandcamp is good too.

What he said.

You can purchase digital wav files from some places and convert, but your best bet for free lossless is to find good torrents, or subscribe to Tidal

>FLAC
All my music comes in WAV or TAK. Because the Chinese are fucking crazy.

i convert mp3 128kbps to flac

>tfw you don't even have the equipment to properly gain something from flac

Then again I don't really care. I listen to vinyl recordings with audible scratching noises and don't really care.

i watch my porn 360p

Wav is extemely inefficient with memory. But I guess if you like 3 minutes worth of audio taking up 100Mb then that's all you baby

kat.cr
piratebay
rutracker.org

it takes 20 minutes to learn then you just wait for the interview

TAK is awesome

What.cd has an IRC interview that is easy to pass if you just learn how to analyze audio quality from spectrals. Shouldn't be hard if you're Sup Forums inclined.

Nowhere, I hardly listen to anything these days. New music is mostly crap, and I am tired of old stuff.
I mostly listen to rock and metal, its enough listen to a song once maybe twice.
I am not even going into electroshit and po(o)p

So do I. But that's because I'm into armature stuff and HD for those are still surprisingly scarce.

dump audophileposter

The only FLACs I've found are on torrent sites, but really MP3s converted from YouTube in 320kbps aren't that bad.

soulseek

Why tidal? Deezer is much better

...

You can convert to Flac and back to mp3 in realtime with modern CPUs. Just download mp3s and save your hdd space.

Wherever, really. I couldn't remember the name of the one I trialed, so I just Googled and picked one that sounded familiar

Just re-encode your own.

Why would you convert Youtube to MP3?

When you can't find a torrent of a song you're looking for

The fuck are those sweeps about? Do they use fingerprinting or something?

look it up in the archive

less comprehensive programs read it as a full quality track. reals.

spectogram acrobatics

Haha, the absolute madmen.

For anyone else thats curious;

Just download the AAC, moron.

rutracker

FLAC is good but mp3 320kpbs is usually what I listen too. Best filesize/sound ratio. Anything under that is pretty shit

Last time I tried I had to wait for almost 10 hours

I mean, I don't want to go into full aspie mode.
But shouldn't he be keeping his hands away from the headphones?
They look like an open design so wouldn't it make sense to avoid any resistance with his hands on the grill?
Like, I know it probably makes a shit of difference, but these are supposed to be the holy grail of audio right?
So it'd make sense to try to have every part you can control to be as optimal as possible.

I find most stuff on TPB, KAT and en.metal-tracker.com.
I guess what.cd is good place, never bothered to join as once I've waited for an hour to start an interview, and still I wasn't at top of the queue.
And you have huge collection on chiru.no/dl. They have huge collection of jap music. From non-Anime music they have some classical stuff like Bach and Slayer.

I used to torrent flacs years back, and burn cds, but now just paid streaming service. If I reallly like a new release, I buy the cd.
And it's surprising how many good cds you can find at flea markets and 2nd stores if you're familiar with vintage, or even only a year or two old.
I only ever downloaded one flac album that when burned to a cd, had less than perfect quality. The diff between a cd burned from flac or 320kb mp3 is obvious on a good stereo. And the waveform of a flac from mp3 conversion will confirm it.

i agree

WHY IS THERE NO DUST COVER ON THAT TURNTABLE??!!!??
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

>when you realize you wasted thousands of dollars on a scam

>where does Sup Forums find FLAC music?
i think ponomusic sells flac files

I buy the CD and rip it.

soulseek

it takes 2 hours max to get into what.cd, just do your research and do the interview, boom done.
