I get the same problem with my HD 5870. Happens once every couple of weeks.
Driver crashes, brown screen, recovers.

This procedure has worked for me with 4970, 6970, and 290. Across win xp, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10.
My x300 would install perfectly on win2k too. Don't know why or how people have issues.

Windows 10 is a piece of shit about GPU drivers, or at least AMD ones. I used it with 3 different GPUs, an R7 240, an R7 250x, and the last time an R7 360. All of those times I had a metric fuckton of GPU-related crashes and if I went back to 7 or even 8.1, there were none at all.

Don't get me wrong, both Linux and Android are fine, but both have their shortcomings. AMD is no different. Nvidia is far from perfect, but at least their drivers actually work.
AMD is a great budget option, their drivers suck dick though. If it was a slight occurrence I'd agree that OP is retarded, but everyone I know who owns an AMD card has had drivers issues at some point.
Just spend the $250 and get a 1060 dude.

My amd drivers downgraded on my windows 10 installation. Check to see of you're running the latest version of your amd drivers.
I have a 390x on 8.1, works fine.
