>met a sweet grill at college two weeks ago >not related to the story, but she is a solid 8 >we happened to form a group for a project >hanging out at her place yesterday evening >working on our presentation >have to look something up oh her laptop >open up pic related >find video >press Play >30 second commercial...
Are you fucking kidding me? There are people out there, who tolerate this bullshit.
If you don't block ALL ADS, please leave Sup Forums immediately. Fucking scum.
>expecting a college bound 8/10 gril to not be a normie
Christopher Hill
>being this much of a moron
Kayden Allen
>he doesn't use mpv+youtube-dl to stream videos using the terminal
leave my Sup Forums now
Jace Jackson
...
Asher Russell
I got my entire family to use adblock. They all hate ads.
Oliver Williams
>he doesn't have a binding to automatically do that with his browser
Lucas Stewart
but i dont mind watching commercials on youtube? i see the point in ads and content creation?
Grayson James
Second this.
Daniel Campbell
I want to support the youtubers I like. And don't get this mad at such things, it's a bit embarrassing
Kevin Green
>I want to support the youtubers I like. Then donate to their patreon or sign up to audible with their links. Watching the Youtube ads gives them pennies.
Jeremiah Gomez
>girl >met
Brayden Garcia
Yeah, ads are annoying but I don't mind watching them to support the channels I like.
Lucas Howard
If you watch youtube through your web browser, you should get the fuck out of Sup Forums
>(((content creation)))
Caleb Turner
This is a retarded statement, you have insulted me by actually thinking this
Ayden Cox
>30 second what an impatient dork. you're gonna die early from stress dude.
Noah Anderson
Most of my favourite youtubers don't have patreon or audible, like and not disabling ads it's the only way
Ethan Gray
>contributing a few cents is supporting channels i like! Beggers make more money scavenging around vending machines. If you want to support channels you like then fucking support them. Donating $5 would be more liquid income than they would see from you watching 100 videos.
Caleb Baker
Then they don't need advertising income.
Brody Moore
Why?
Hunter Moore
Because they are clearly making money some other way. No one relies entirely on advertising income. Certainly not through the Internet. It's just a recipe for failure.
And I'm not including selling advertising as "advertising income".
Connor Diaz
i only block ads on youtube. on other websites adblock does more damage than good.
Christian Carter
>consumerist Americunt detected
Nobody outside of 'Murica likes ads, you dildo.
Elijah Scott
Well i don't really know how youtube works, but i remember a douche youtuber getting quite mad because a lot of his subscribers were using ads block, and he was saying that the income was low because of that.
Anyway, ads in my case are 29/30 times at the end of the video and i get ads 1/20 times, so it doesn't bother me too much and i like to know that i'm helping, even if it's a little bit
Alexander Baker
lel
His content is not good enough for people to fork some money over, so he relies purely on ads. Why would this channel exist to begin with? Absolutely nothing of value would be lost, if his channel goes under.
Joseph Jones
Nice blog. Subscribed.
Carter Morgan
>tfw work for news & online media company >tfw me blocking ads is hypocritic
Jayden Russell
instantly dropped
0/10, would not have children with
Asher Richardson
You are not helping at all you moron. It's a broken model. Just because you sacrifice your time and CPU to load annoying ads doesn't mean you actually handed any money to anyone. Your help has been absolutely nothing. If you buy the products that are advertised then it works, but now they just have to guess and round the numbers. You can't generate money from nothing. Ad companies have to cover your part as well which makes them drop the price of an individual ad download eventually.
Luis Turner
Nice blog, where can I fucking subscribe to more of your vapid bullshit?
