Es file explorer

Solid Explorer
Neutron
F-Droid
Xposed
MacroDroid or Tasker

Don't use that chinese crap, just use something that is at least 500x better than that free home phoner like solid explorer

For a non-rooted phone:
>F-droid
>Adblock Fast (if Samsung)
>Opera beta (best Sup Forums navigation + favourite boards on speed dial)
>Orbot (Android Tor)
>Twilight (Filters out blue light so you can sleep)
Malwarebytes (Has 'Security audit' and 'Privacy audit' options)
>Wifi Analyzer
>Signal (the non-retard Whatsapp)
>Encrypted e-mail service such as Tutanota, Protonmail (my favourite) or GhostApp.
>A password manager such as Keepass2Droid

Red Moon >>>> Twilight
Clover > Opera for Sup Forums
Naked = Lightning > Opera

>What's the best task manager right now?

Any way to improve battery on the Z5?

Minetest

Two apps I couldn't do without:

Firefox Nightly
RetroArch if you enjoy playing video games

Everything else really isn't very essential.
Is there any music player for Android phones that isn't garbage?

good meme

No, really I got a few dollars out of it.

I like blackplayer but I never actually bothered to try anything else

You couldn't do what without what? Learn to speak English

PokemonGO

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Didn't like Clover the one time I tries it. The thing about Opera are those God tier arrows that let you navigate to the top or bottom of a thread in smooth af fashion.

The Samsung browser has 'Request PC version' which I find very useful.

Switched to Red Moon though - good stuff.

Xp

...

Can someone link me to a root tutorial for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that actually works? So far none do

Phonograph is alright

Meant for

"Request PC version" is available on almost any browser, isn't it? I never used opera, but it should have that too

> Solid Explorer

Speaking of normie shit.

The fuck is the point of Pinterest?

I can understand Instagram to an extent.

Grabbing normie facebook accounts for selling ads and user data

CF Lumen >>>>> Red Moon

Sd maid

F-Droid
Termux
AdAway
DiskUsage

I use clover just for downloading pic albums and easily unchecking the ones I don't want to download

Unified Remote, Tinfoil for Facebook, Greenify, Adaway.

What is a good app that I can mark my GPS position with and come back to it later? Only GPS, I don't need maps or other shit. (Basically I want to test if mushrooms grow back in the same spot after you pick them)

gravitybox

Omich Player is the only correct answer.

This. It makes android's UI twice as fast to use. Why aren't navigation key action settings (eg. setting what double tapping or holding the back, home, and recents buttons does) built in to android by now anyway?

That chinese crap has served me well over the years, but I'll check out Solid Explorer. Thanks for the recommendation.

Well N is going to make double tap recents return to last app, but that's about it. And I prefer long hold for that function. Every button should have secondary and tertiary functions completely customizable.

I kinda like Flux better since it automatically switches for you and doesnt need to be open in the background to work.

The ones you need.

Ignore the manchildren tweaks itt. Most of them will be probably of low quality and make your Android run worse.

enjoy your botnet

ever monitored the connections it makes?

This is undisputed: the best launcher is Action Launcher 3.

Also this

Looks like bloat tßh

xprivacy, old es explorer, old opera, tor browser, adaway, afwall+, an ftp server and wireless sharing app easily found on fdroid.

It does.

Also can download youtube (or any other) videos. P useful. Also data-saving mode.

That feature and gravitybox's app launcher are the only reasons why I bother rooting when I get a new phone. They make using a phone so much faster. Adblock is just a bonus.

>everything is bloat

phone, camera, messaging, email.

Gentoo musl + weston ivi shell

How do you guys feel about Airdroid?

I'm trying to find ways of making file transfer easier

>grindr
> Not sub or hoagie.

>>Adblock Fast
what is the point of this? it says it doesn't block ads in other apps, just when using Samsung Internet

but who doesn't use firefox?

I just use scp from Termux. It's so much easier when you have a ssh server running on every machine, so you don't have to interact with a machine you want to send something to.

I'm looking for software that will lock down a phone, and let me teamviewer (Or otherwise remote control it, or start an app) whenever I want. It's a BDSM thing, my sub's been asking me to set up something to control their phone. Any advice? It's abit of a hassle to keep on restarting TV

What is the point of aptoide, I could find hardly any full versions of anything.

-Tasker
-Xposed Framework + xPrivacy, Gravity Box, Amplify
-ColorNote
-Total Commander
-Shuttle+
