I can't notice any difference between FLAC and MP3
What am I doing wrong?

You need a $1000 sound card and $5000 headphones
Nobody can, user. Not really.
FLAC includes frequencies all the way to 22 KHz while MP3 has a frequency cut between 20.5 to 16 KHz depending on the type.
With time your hearing gets worse you might not hear the higher frequencies
You are not autistic enough to notice.
Be glad.
Your audio palette is not yet sophisticated enough to discern high quality lossless sound from compressed shit. Keep trying.
You are a normal human bean.
Either a bad track to test, bad hardware or bad hearing.
>le autism xDD am i funy yet xD
lol OP doesn't have EARS 4.6.
Oh come on, nobody really hears anything over 17khz and at that point it's just a tinnitus-tier screech, not like you'd miss it on a song
you need better cables
No one can reliably produce convincing abx results comparing v0 to flac. Flac is nice, but don't fall for memes. Mp3 is deprecated
shit mp3 actually sounds better because you aren't adding more sound wobbles with extra wave information that cancel eachother out due to reverberation
hi-fi fags will argue against this using hi-fi science (magic)
Compression reduces audio quality. FLAC is not compressed. Sometimes it takes a musicians ear to hear the diff because all anyone ever hears is compressed audio
Theeeen stick to mp3
Being an audiophile = diminishing returns on investment on audio equipment.
>mp3
Deprecated legacy shit
You guys just don't understand.
Only real purpose of FLAC is for archival purposes and maybe to transcode into lossy formats in the future, anything else is just autism
You need to burn a music cd and play it on a good stereo system.
For your phone and earbuds, mp3 will do fine.
>Free Lossless Audio Codec
>Not compressed
You're retarded.
