Is this what EFF does with our donation money?
HTTPS Everywhere fuck-up
Other urls found in this thread:
github.com

who cares i dropped that broken piece of shit long ago for umatrix's strict https
>getting triggered by an icon that you can't even see until you open your addons manager
Just fucking kill yourselves fucking autists
Strict HTTPS = 90% of websites inaccessible.
HTTPS Everywhere = only opens sites that do support it via HTTPS.
i can browse non https sites with strict https on umatrix though, looks like you don't know shit
EFF shill detected. Fuck you. Nobody likes it.
Give our old logo back.
So it doesn't automatically redirect Sup Forums and other sites to HTTPS, which makes it useless next to Superman Everywhere.
Nice reading comprehension retard, it redirects anything with https capabilities just like https everywhere.
The rest of the sites are browsable as well and you can forbid mixed content on https sites too.
>, it redirects anything with https capabilities just like https everywhere.
How do you think it guesses a site supports https, cocklicker? By making a test request, which is totally against the point. Superman Everywhere has lists that do that automatically without having to test it.
I don't even use it you cuck, there is nothing wrong with that logo/icon, it fits the today's design standards.
>People are actually upset over the logo
It's a fucking HUGE CUBE sitting next to round or flat icons from ALL OTHER EXTENSIONS.
>HTTPS Everywhere = only opens sites that are on their white list via HTTPS
fixed that for you
Yes, with no need to make test requests and making everything slower and insecure.
>https everywhere has lists
yeah the fucking observatory option which is actually a piece of shit and makes Sup Forums hang while it searches it on it's lists server
gtfo eff shill
It's not even huge, what the fuck are you on about? It's even smaller than Stylish' icon
Will using strict HTTPS with umatrix stop pages from having mix content? I still get mix content warnings with HTTPS everywhere.
you can forbid it on the settings if you want
Does umatrix use a whitelist to get HTTPS like HTTPS everywhere does?
...
YOU ARE FUCKING IGNORANT, FAGGOT
IT BUNDLES THE LISTS BY DEFAULT NOBODY NEEDS TO USE OBSERVATORY SHIT
I CANT EVEN FUCK YOU FUCK YOU
OPEN THE FUCKING REPOSITORY
THE LISTS ARE CONTRIBUTED MANUALLY BY HUMANS github.com
FUCK YOU
even if it does WHICH IT DOESN'T it takes a shit load of time to check the lists instead of just parsing the site for https, so fuck yourself shill
...
A FUCKING LOGO
hahahaha
also >ghostery
Did you hit your head against a titanium plate or what, fucktard? IM SAYING ITS UMATRIX METHOD THATS SLOW COCSUCKER
What shit browser are you using?
>checking a shitload of lists with millions of entries is faster than sending the site a request for https
kys already
https everywhere has to check the lists and run the test while umatrix only runs the test, there's no way it's faster, shut up already
why the fuck are you overreacting about the logo?
You are so fucking dumb.
so I got a question about domain scope for umatrix. Let's just say for example I'm on google (It's just an example) and I can do global, google.com, and www.google.com. What would be the difference between setting it to google.com and www.google.com?
thread challenge: Design a new logo.
>neet faggots with so much free time and energy they can get upset over a fucking logo
They should stop giving away NEETBUX it's like welfare for white people
Holy fuck, what the hell is going on in this image? The blue near the edges looks like it's darker, but I don't see any color changes using the eyedropper tool.
Here's my aesthetic contribution.
It's an optical illusion
simple, but effective

Strict HTTPS on uMatrix just makes it so websites can't load 3rd party HTTP content on a page accessed with HTTPS. Strict HTTPS on HTTPS Everywhere completely won't let any website not using HTTPS. For that option though I would personally recommend the HTTP Nowhere addon though as it will try to load any HTTP page you go to over HTTPS before failing while HTTPS Everywhere with strict HTTPS turned on will only attempt an HTTPS connection on websites on the whitelist which still doesn't contain many websites.
>firefox only
>hasn't been updated in nearly 3 years
damn
>hasn't been updated in nearly 3 years
Why is that a problem? All it does is either make HTTP requests fail or change all HTTP requests to HTTPS requests, with exceptions in either situation if the URL matches one on a user generated whitelist. It doesn't exactly seem like something that would need updates as there isn't much to get wrong the first time.
You fucking niggerdick obsessed inbred, it's FTFY
It means it's pretty unlikely that there will be support for other browsers added.
why would i need to see the icon if i know its working by default anyways?
Absolutely NOTHING wrong with it, you fucking autists.
Sup Forums - Autism.
...
out of the loop... what is this?
woah woah woah, people are this fucking butthurt over the logo in the toolbar changing? By the way people are reacting it seemed like the icon was being plastered all over webpages or something
/r/outoftheloop
>not hiding everything in le burger menu except location bar and max 3 items, e.g. bookmarks, history and downloads
oldest trick in the firefoxbook
>not disabling the burger menu
Come on now.
cringe
I'm not ever going to donate to them again. They won't listen to the USERS.
>he doesn't use HTTP Nowhere
All this normie plebs in here.
This. It's normal size.
>not hiding the icon like a normal person
Fucking retards. All of you.
>They won't listen to the USERS.
inorite? It's been hours already, HOURS!!@!
Icon is the same size for me.
I wish they'd change it back though, the old one looks better
