Depends on what you use your desktop/laptop for. RatPoison is pretty good once you get used to it.
Pretty much every Ubuntu variant is shit (with the exception of Xubuntu, it's alright).
Debian can be good but I've only seen 2 Debian setup that weren't shit.
Gentoo is nothing but a hassle of a meme.
I haven't seen a Red Hat setup in years so I can't really say either way on that.
We can all agree that Windows and OSX are shit though.
