Internet.org is just our company's way of monopolizing internet in developing countries. We're giving them access to Facebook products as well as wilipedia and some other shit for free in exchange for us having complete control of digital ad sales in those regions. Youll hear lots of bullshit stories about how we try and control media narrative, brainwash people, etc. The reality is so simple: we want your money. All we care about is making money. The more people we can get to view and click ads the happier we are. That is the whole purpose of Internet.org.
As an example, most emoloyees are liberal but we are very anti SJW internally. We talk all the time about how important it is for conservatives to have an equal voice. We may not agree with them but everyone should have equal freedom to speak. This is super important to us because the more people that have the freedom to speak on our platform, the more people will use our platform. The more people that use our platform, the more money we make.
