James Hernandez
Yes. Disable built-in osc in config, download osc.lua from git and put it under ~/.config/mpv/scripts/ folder
Josiah Campbell
Update ur shit man
Cameron Barnes
how do i know which version im running
Elijah Morales
Why not get the builds from the link posted on the official website? mpv.srsfckn.biz/
Adrian James
and by this i meant without a console, i'm on windows.
i think the updater script i had stopped working and the only one i can find is some powershell thing that doesnt work for me
Carter Morales
It's strange that people have started to use mpv, a CLI video player, without any command-line knowledge.
Be brave, open a Command Prompt, type C:\path\to\mpv\mpv --version and press enter.
Cooper Peterson
mpv --version
mpv UNKNOWN (C) 2000-2015 mpv/MPlayer/mplayer2 projects built on Fri Aug 14 04:36:00 WEST 2015 ffmpeg library versions: libavutil 54.30.100 libavcodec 56.57.100 libavformat 56.40.101 libswscale 3.1.101 libavfilter 5.32.100 libswresample 1.2.101 ffmpeg version: N-74370-g8623aba
is this good?
Tyler Adams
Nope. For some reason it has no version info, but going by the build date and the FFmpeg commit, it's almost a year old, which is ancient in mpv's terms.
Adrian Rogers
Not that guy, but would I benefit in anyway by using a newer build? I'm using a pretty shitty laptop so I don't care too much about quality as I care about performance. My version is even older than user's.
Lincoln Brooks
Yeah. mpv often gets performance improvements and bug fixes.
William Lewis
>plugs in ear phone on 3.5 mm front panel >watch porn, sound is distorted like under water or something >watch anime, sounds fine >watch youtube, sounds fine
What is happening? Both porn and anime have the same AAC but different bitrate. When I plug the 3.5mm earphone into my speaker's 3.5mm it sounds fine. What the heck is happening?
Ian Phillips
Maybe it's the sample rate? You could try --audio-samplerate=44100 or --audio-samplerate=48000
Jaxson Bennett
audio sample rate is indeed 48000 and apologies, but I put in both earphones and none of them seem to work now. I can't discern the voice when people talk in both YT and anime. I'm thinking its a hardware problem instead of a software problem?
Alexander Ross
Could be. Weird shit like that can happen when there's crosstalk between the headphone wires. Try --af="pan=1:[0.5,0.5]" to downmix to mono and see if that helps.
Leo Gomez
why how to fix
Ian Parker
Can I use these presets with Baka MPlayer? Also, how do I set autoplay bluray cds?
Brody King
Keep using mpv, that's a pretty simple question!
Liam Sanders
rom last thread >The script is not making up these values, it just shows on screen what mpv tells it. Well than I don't know. >A GTX 970 is more than enough to run max settings at 4K (which is what I do)
Your shit's fucked doubtful I am using a 750ti now and the issue remains. I noticed that MPV doesn't play hitsounds like the quake or cod one correctly, where areas foobar played them fine. well dam
Zachary Hernandez
...
Logan Peterson
Don't use smplayer, this is simply stupid. However you should not using windows at all to prevent this.
Tyler Peterson
Here's your attention, fampai.
Though I guess I want to know why. What do you get out of MPlayer that you don't get out of mpv and vice versa? Is it because of an MPlayer feature that mpv removed?
Connor Green
I think this is because he can't fap anymore... People do silly things when they are not able to get a proper erection.
Owen Bennett
Good video player with retarded configuration system.
Jason Gonzalez
How can I comment out a script without deleting it from the script folder?
