I fucking hate this meme, it doesn't help the fact that some phones actually came with "free bitdefender license for 1 year". If you really are that retarded to install every apk you find then you deserve to get those viruses and I hate the fact that every sigle friend of mine is a tech illiterate and thinks that not having an antivirus on your pc/android will automatically get you viruses.

Tried a metric fuckton of music players and I always go back to Poweramp. Pic related, Poweramp with material dark skin.

Naked and Lightning are decent browsers but I keep going back to Firefox. Tried Icecat for Mobile also, but sadly some pages are incomplete with it, and apparently it's not updated frequently.

As far as image viewers go, I keep going back and forth between Piktures and Leafpic. Piktures is far more complete but Leafpic is free as in freetard so...

Normies say the darndest things.

I saw multiple people rate Phonograph, Black and Poweramp 1/5 because "they don't even come with music and you have to have your own". If I were an app developer I'd probably go insane.

Is VLC better than MX Player?

It's not like you had an argument either, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about.

I'm surrounded by philistine turboniggers and normies. That's what I'm complaining about.

I need a calculator which combines a calculator, unit converter, and currency converter in a neat package.

VLC fucked up some of my subtitles. Other than that it works good. Haven't testes MX Player lately.

The Apple iPhone 6S Plus doesn't have this problem.

Does anyone have any experience with good android apps that will compute and plot special functions like gamma functions, trig functions, bessel functions, spherical harmonics, etc?

(I work in a physics lab.)

I have an app called unit converter plus that I pirated from somewhere ages ago and it has everything you want. There is a free version but I don't know what's the difference.

Anyone got a good foss image viewer that's on FDroid?

Leafpic?

Looks nice. Thanks.

Anybody got a vidya player that'll loop vidya?

If you want to download videos from youtube then the dentex youtube downloader from github is a much better alternative.

all these apps are must-have.

I know he is joking but other than keyboard there are no many better alternatives, especially if you only count free ones.

Does anyone know of a irc client that supports DCC and preferably muh freedoms. Same for a torrent client.

literally just emulators

Hey friends. I wanna root my device, but i have a tob of authenticator apps and some bank apps. Is there any way to keep the data for those apps so i don't have to reconfigure them all?

...

...

which DS emulator is the best?
do you actually >buy these apks?

...

When I setup my phone I kept all the defaults that google offered. Now I regret it. Is there anyway to change those settings? If I reset my device will it offer me those options again? I want to try to get as much privacy as possible.

Drastic

Yes I support developers

Anyone got a suggestion for a solid file management app?

>flash cm13
>flash freecyngn
>flash xposed
>get FakeGApps xposed module
>add f-droid microG repos
>install microG and blankstore (or google phonesky)
>set up everything else

how do you install an emulator on ubuntu to run one of these apps?

Angry Birds Space

okay thanks a lot

Is the dolby/viper thing just a placebo or does it really boost sound? Also what is a good replacement for the stock calls app? I have textra for sms but i have no idea about the other one, please no skype or anything that needs internet to work.

Hey guys, I need a script which will back up the Phonesky.apk when I update, and restore it.

I found some script on Github, but it also removes a couple of the AOSP apps which I don't like. And I don't know how to edit it without breaking it..

gist.github.com/invisiblek/ac70c58ee2609dc30a83

Titanium Backup? Ive only ever used it to backup saves from games with no cloud syncing though, no idea if it will work.

No, no..

I could use oandbackup if that were the case, but I don't want to open an app and restore each time I update my ROM.

Appreciate the reply, though.

OGYouTube is better

Best app for transferring files from android to pc?

jmtpfs is pretty solid

no tricorder mention....wtf?

youtube.com/watch?v=Vxvqrwxu-84

K9 or aqua mail? Been using k9 but it's kinda ugly and I'd switch in a heartbeat if their was something better

I need an app like ms paint, apktool, notepad++, an apk signer for android. also recompiler for android.

I reverse engineer apks on windows and i want to be able to do the same on android.
help

also what can i use to record audio through usb or without using the mic on the phone.

any google maps alternative?

osm

i actually just saw this while browsing fdroid, looks pretty nice thanks

Is there a point to having kwgt if you already use KLWP?

No

King root on lollipop? How do you do it

>ADM
Does that actually do anything? It sounds like cable lifts or something, does it actually work?

It can legitimately speed up certain downloads by using more than one thread. It's also more stable than most downloaders out there.

why don't phones do that by default? Can it affect the integrity of the file or something and corrupt it?

>Google keyboard
>no Japanese language available
I guess I will stick with Swiftkey.

Anybody know of a manga reader that's not plastered with ads? Or one I can pirate the pro version for.

ふざけるな

Quads demand an answer.

Meant for

Perfect viewer if you mean from your own stash

Aizoban or tachiyomi if you mean from a website

I'd try if it werent so ugly and as customizable as its PC counterpart.

Thanks mane

There really aren't any useful tools for this kind of thing on Android. You may be able to manage it using a Linux chroot installation, but I'd imagine it would be a miserable experience.
Great taste in bitches btw.

Aizoban is alright, but I like ZingBox better. Tachiyomi is shit desu.

Ever heard of the /nogapps/ master race?

So I just rooted my phone

What do I do now?

Need an app that'll send push notifications when TV shows im watching get updated. Anybody know?

How is tachiyomi shit?
