Sup Forums Win95 css style

continued from
today's changes:
- All images are now embedde in the css
- Each reply has a gradient color title bar
- Minor fixes in margins and padding

todo:
- style the catalog page
- colors look ugly in some places

I tried to also embed the font (Microsoft Sans Serif) in the CSS but then I get over 600 KB of code so I skipped that for now.

For a better experience disable clear type.

CSS:
txt.do/5evm6

put it on gitlab faget

Ok, this is new

gitlab.com/fermata/4chan95/tree/master

I have also included the css with base64 font encoded in it.

Good stuff. You forgot to add @-moz-document domain("Sup Forums.org") though.

thx

Literally visual bloat

Nice job, but the links still look ugly as sin and are hard on the eyes, please use a darker color than bright blue.

I like the 95 theme but this is just plain ugly

Thanks

Really, just the links is ugly. I have no idea why OP thought bright blue was a good idea.

I want to keep the cyan background because it's the default wallpaper.

What colors should the links be? Suggest some or change them yourself in gitlab

isnt that the whole point of that thing

I changed the link color from what OP used to #3890ae, I think it looks much more readable.

OP, I really really like this CSS

However, a few notes, can you affect the captcha through CSS? I know nothing about web-dev so this might not be possible, but if it is, that'd be cool to change
As for links, you could do dark blue maybe?

>affect the captcha through CSS
what do you want changed?

just make it look like the rest of Sup Forums, it's a bit weird, having this flat thing there
although I might just disable new captcha

just switched to legacy captcha and desu this is much nicer, I fucking hate choosing pictures

OP, what do you think of the new color I used for links? Do you think you'll change the CSS link color to #3890ae?

>win 95 style
>two color title bar

Pretty gud OP, I rate 10/10 for the nostalgia.

Also, is there a way to get rid of the stupid yotsuba blue bar from Sup Forums X or at least change the color to match the CSS?

butbutbtubutbut, those are thw windows 2k colors, not the 95 colors. look it up.

cept that green backgound, thats win95. but othe rthan that...

it was solid blue initially but I changed it to gradient

I don't use Sup Forums x so dunno. Maybe someone who uses it can adapt the css accordingly.

it's good. What should I use for :hover and :visited links?

>it was solid blue initially but I changed it to gradient
then it's not windows 95 styled anymore

>What should I use for :hover and :visited links?
I'm not sure, my biggest issue was reading it without hovering it over or visiting it.

we'll call it windows 98 then

don't play with other people's autism

This looks bad but there is obviously a demand for it however small so cool.
